When I find myself in a rut, I sometimes turn to automatic drawing—a technique that allows my mind to quiet down and let my subconscious take the lead. It’s a great way to tap into your inner creativity without the pressure of perfection. If you’re feeling stuck today, I encourage you to give it a try. Grab a pen and paper, and just let your hand move freely. It doesn't have to mean anything and it doesn't need to look pretty, just doodle and you might surprise yourself. Look at my example, just random lines and dots... Cheers for now

Lowering the height of the bezel, manually saw piercing 1mm to make it sit just right in its setting....

I've always gravitate to the beautiful rich raspberry red of the Rhodolite Garnet. This pretty cabochon is the focal point of the manually textured handcrafted 925 silver Cuff bracelet.

Wears well on its own or go crazy stacking with other bracelets too. There's no right or wrong when you know your own style.

Some silver and some moonstones...

Silversmithing is a time-honored craft that demands both patience and precision. The process begins with the careful melting of silver granules, which are heated until they transform into a molten state. Once fully liquefied, the silver is poured into molds, forming ingots that serve as the raw material for future creations. This is just the first step in a long, intricate process.

The silver ingots are then subjected to repeated cycles of rolling and annealing. Rolling involves passing the silver through a series of progressively narrower rollers to gradually thin the metal into sheets or draw it into wires. Annealing, or heating the metal, is done frequently to relieve internal stresses and prevent the silver from becoming brittle. You can see the difference between the sheets in the 1st image with the rushed piece having obvious cracks. This sequence of rolling and annealing is repeated many times, as it takes considerable effort to achieve the desired thickness and malleability.

Each stage of this process requires meticulous attention to detail, as even the slightest error can compromise the integrity of the metal. Only after many hours of painstaking work does the silver reach the precise dimensions and quality necessary for it to be crafted into Jessie's Trinket Trove’s exquisite jewelry pieces.

So excited for this weekend's pop up at Gudang /Janine. Made a few 925 silver bracelet cuffs amongst other things that are a bit of a departure from the usual cleaner more refine look.

I've been getting requests for these kinda cuffs. A bit raw, a bit edgy, a bit rustic. Do you dig this?
