I’ve received numerous messages asking for tips and methods for creating a wire version of micro-macramé. Initially, I crafted them using only my bare fingers. However, thanks to your inquiries, I began to explore tools that could potentially assist in the process. I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve found the perfect tools, and because of this discovery, I now have the confidence to create a tutorial - tying macrame with wires is VERY DIFFERENT from tying with cord, I’ll say learn the basic to avoid precious metal wastage.
The 0.3mm stainless steel needles, both flat-headed and sharp, have been instrumental in accomplishing this project. If you don’t already have them, I’m offering to ship a set of ten (nine flat and one sharp) to you for free; you’ll just need to cover the shipping costs.

Oh I really, really like this one. The initial idea adopted from half zig zag ring pattern except I did this whole ring entirely zig zag with silver wires. 🫶🏻 Thanks for being such inspiration, sensei. 🙏

This is SO HARD to make yet the essence of it are so not visible. Good for me for trying but I doubt it’s worth making with shiny wires. 😂

多年前我封钳之际最后参与的活动是【品】家宴，doorgift 里有一本小画册，里面每隔几张空白纸就有不爱猫的马来西亚女画家蔡健一画的猫。蔡画家不爱猫却爱画猫，我也是，学电子绘图那段时间，我画了好几副猫慵懒着藐视一切，不可一世的模样，我画猫，但绝不想与猫有任何交集。🥴
从东京回来那会儿，某晚做好家务准备休息之际，忽然想画下某个设计，从书架上随手抽出的画本画下的，便是【品】赠物。
發現 micro macamé 從菜鳥新手到發現自己原來已經能畫設計圖，本子也快用完了。

I wasn’t sure how this would turn out using wires. It’s only after few FULL trials of making the piece, then only I could gauge what bead size to use at which position. The very fine wires simply has its mind.

In the bygone era when acquiring gold and silver wires proved exceedingly difficult, thoughtful friends procured them from the United States (bought from , of course) for me. He meticulously repackaged the wires in zipper bags, effectively staving off oxidation for a decade. Regrettably, I've just noticed a broken zipper bag housing 99.9% silver wires that have succumbed to oxidation. Uncertain about the next steps, any suggestions?
