A lovely nature 100% organic crewel wool embroidery thread gets its rich colour palette entirely from natural dyes such as walnut, rhubarb , indigo and juniper.
Perfect for hand embroidery, cross stitch, punch needle, weaving and mending this soft 2-ply thread feels lovely to work with and gives stitches a raised three-dimensional quality.
Projects can be hand washed at 30 degrees, so it’s ideal for embellishing woollen clothes and home wares . As with all natural dyes, there may be slight variations in cut. This 100% organic non-mulesed wool is the ideal choice for sustainable crafting.

The challenge for this cross stitch was not only did the front of the stitch demanded meticulous attention but the back too had to mirror it. Well done Ella 👍🏻
