It was a fantastic day of community spirit, culture, and giving back! We recently hosted a 📚 book sale at the UTAR Merdeka Carnival to support a great cause with Teach for Malaysia.

We were thrilled to see how some rare collectibles brought smiles to everyone’s faces. The carnival was also packed with cool activities, from a Merdeka fashion show to delicious local food galore.

We embrace continuous learning in all its forms! The perfect example would be our recent terrarium workshop, where Averians got to unwind, connect, and learn about various plant species, sparking creativity and growth. The Finance Team had an epic team-building session together with their customers at The Bomb Battle, Times Square KL. Dodging lasers, cracking codes, and defusing paint bombs showcased everyone's skills and speed. What an exhilarating way to enhance team cohesion and work synergy!

Last month, Averis Americas celebrated Festa Julina, honouring Brazil’s vibrant cultural heritage! 🎉 The office was buzzing with flags, colourful balloons, and delicious traditional treats where everyone joined in the fun with festive costumes, lively dances, and exciting games. Our company in Penang had a funtastic Tower Away Day, hitting the lanes at Penang Bowl. In celebration of a team member, we got to share a warm hotpot meal at Hai Di Lao too! It’s times like these that remind us how strong connections can go beyond the workplace.

The IT Operations team had a team-building event filled with engaging and thrilling challenges. They were tasked to build the tallest and most solid tower with sticks, and then they had to construct bridges from recyclable materials that allow small cars to move independently. It was a day of learning new skills and strengthening team bonds.

Unforgettable day at Nextgen Edutainment Theme Park, 1U! The HR Tower bonded over specially designed games and activities, turning an ordinary day into an extraordinary one.

Averis’ VP, Group IT, Mr. Herminto, spoke at the recent HPE Innovation Summit 2024, sharing insights of IT innovations and technologies especially on our adoption of HPE Greenlake in all our global data centers. The topic was Digital Game Changer: Innovation on Edge-Hybrid Cloud AI and we are honoured to be part of the panel for the session. Thank you Hewlett Packard Enterprise for having us!

Honoured to be part of the INTI International University & Colleges students' convocation ceremony. We were delighted to present the Averis Industry Awards for Commitment to Excellence to Cleo Isabelle Sim Wei Wen, a top student from this year's graduating cohort. Her outstanding performance throughout the degree programme has been marked by commitment, innovation, and a genuine flair for her chosen field of study. The award was presented by Mr. Desmond Ng, Averis' Finance Tower Lead.

Here are some cool highlights from our First Aid and CPR training. With our amazing instructors - Mr. Nizam and Mr. Tey Chin Yuen, and facilitator - Ms. Azreena, from Life Saving Professional Academy Sdn Bhd, we learned essential, life-saving skills through hands-on practice. Now, we’re more confident and prepared to handle emergencies!

ESG—Environmental, Social, and Governance, is a framework that navigates today's markets. In our recent training, Mr. Song Kuok Tong, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Social Impact from INTI International University & Colleges shared that ESG’s focus is to sustain long-term values, addressing governance and business strategies. Overall, this session was insightful - we came with questions and left with valuable knowledge for our future success.

✨Raya vibes all around! Not only did we all reconnect with colleagues from all teams, we also launched our first BYOC (Bring Your Own Container) campaign and managed to reduce single-use plastic waste by 70%! Bravo to all Averians for taking part in this initiative. 🌿💚

🎨🖌️We had the opportunity to take part in a Ceramic Painting Workshop, where we got to unleash our creativity. Using the right colours and techniques taught us how to make speedy decisions with confidence. This definitely helped unlock new sets of skills - problem-solving and critical thinking 😉💪🏼. ‘Twas certainly a fun session!

Last year, we partnered with SPCA Selangor, Malaysia, dedicating our skills and efforts to volunteering and fundraising. Along the way, we formed meaningful connections that further enriched our journey.

We’re glad to share that our collective efforts have garnered over RM10,000 in both cash and kind contributions that will enhance the well-being of the SPCA Selangor’s animals, providing essential medical care and facilitating necessary housekeeping measures.

Averis recently had the honor to host Dr. Jane Lim, Chief Executive of INTI International University & Colleges Subang, for an intimate talk on Women Empowerment. Dr. Jane, who has been with INTI since 1998, shared insights on balancing work, life, and family commitments while pursuing a fulfilling career.

She emphasised the importance of personal time, having a strong support system, and gaining experience through taking on additional responsibilities.
