Last Friday, we had an inspiring and engaging Toastmasters meeting themed "Forgive and Forget," with the quote "Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself."

He shared his personal experience of not receiving a salary for three months during the pandemic and how he moved on from that. He also recounted his time with the Ministry of Health, concluding with the powerful quote, "Forget the thing and remember the gain."

The evening commenced at 8:15 pm with a warm welcome from our SAA, Natasha, who outlined the house rules for the meeting. Our President, Elaine, then set the tone with her impactful presidential speech, igniting a spark of inspiration among us all.

Asyraaf, our TME, expertly steered the ship, delving into the roots of Toastmasters International and the unique journey of our very own Kuantan Toastmasters Club. Introducing each technical role player, he ensured the evening ran seamlessly.

Fikri orchestrated an engaging Tabletopic session, presenting thought-provoking yet approachable topics, leading to some insightful discussions. Sarimah, our dedicated Table Topic Evaluator, evaluated all four table topic speakers, providing valuable feedback for their growth.

The open evaluation session for Asyraaf's humorous speech followed, allowing for constructive feedback and growth opportunities.

A highlight of the night was the induction of our new member, 21-year-old Hakimi, who took the pledge to embark on his Toastmasters journey. We, the members of Kuantan Toastmasters Club, pledged to support him in achieving his goals.

After this insightful session, we took a short break and had an enthusiastic group photo session.

Though there were no prepared speeches this time, the evaluation session, led by the experienced General Evaluator, Aaron Chan from Shine Toastmasters Club, provided valuable insights and commendations for our meeting.

🌟 Hold onto your seats! 🌟 The Kuantan Toastmasters Club meeting on 20/10/2023 was an absolute rollercoaster ride of inspiration! 🎢 Under the electrifying theme "The Sky is the Limit," we witnessed some serious magic unfold.

Picture this: President Elaine Yap kicks off the night with a splash (literally!) sharing a wild tale about tossing someone's kid into the pool to teach them to swim! 🏊‍♂️💦 Who knew life lessons could be so... wet and wild?

Meanwhile, Sarimah's table topic session was like a mental gym session—flexing those conversational muscles left and right! 🌠🗣️

The next session is the prepared speeches. We had three brave speakers for the evening.

Asyraaf had us in stitches with his "3 Second Smile" speech.

Arif's emotional rollercoaster about a doctor's visit and a mother's love had us reaching for the tissues.

And guess what? Sarimah's got something up her sleeve with "Kuantan-Kajang Rendezvous"! Mark your calendars for November 18, 2023, folks! 🗓️✨

By the way, during the short break of the meeting... The members are celebrating Vince's birthday with celebratory singing and cakes! Happy Birthday Vince 🎂🥂

We had an amazing meeting on October 6, 2023, filled with inspiration and growth! 🌟

📌 Theme: "Look Before You Leap"

🕣 Time: 8:15 PM - 10:00 PM

🎙️ Meeting Highlights:

🔹 The meeting commenced with a powerful opening speech by our President, Elaine Yap, setting the tone for an evening of learning and development.

🔹 Our Toastmaster of the Evening, Arif, did a fantastic job introducing the technical role players and providing a glimpse into our club's rich history. We also warmly welcomed 4 new guests who joined us for the evening!

🔹 We are thrilled to announce that we have a new member, Hazrul, who was inducted into our club during a heartwarming ceremony after the introduction of the technical role players.

🎤 Table Topics Session:

Vince took the reins as the Table Topic Master, skillfully inviting all our guests to share their thoughts and experiences. It was an engaging session that encouraged everyone to think on their feet.

📜 Prepared Speech Session:

Asyraaf delivered an insightful prepared speech on the topic of "Domino Habit," emphasizing the importance of controlling our habits and understanding the domino effect in our lives. It was an eye-opening sharing!

🍔 Short Break:

After an enriching first half, we took a short break to recharge and socialize.

🗣️ Evaluation Session:

Cynthia Tiong played the vital role of General Evaluator, providing valuable feedback to help us improve our communication and leadership skills.

🏆 Award and Prize Giving Ceremony:

We celebrated the achievements of the evening, and it was Hazrul, our new member, who shone brightly as the Best Table Topic Speaker. Congratulations, Hazrul!
