Our raisins take a good long bath in rum before they make their way into our silky custard based ice cream. This packs it full of flavor and dials up the intensity of our rum and raisins ice cream to 11! Be sure to try out this classic!

Firstborn of MilkyWay. Rum and raisins is the first flavor we’ve ever sold as MilkyWay, and it became an instant classic. And it all started with a simple request a friend made that helped us realize we could make stuff that other people like. Have a good weekend and stay frosty!

The delightful fragrance of strawberries and the subtle sweetness of grapes from the Rosé wine meld together in our new tasty creation, our Strawberry Rosé ice cream. We’ve also loaded our tubs with strawberry chunks to keep things exciting! After all, you can never ever go wrong with strawberries.

In conjunction with this special day, we’ve launched a new flavor into our series and it’s one of subtle beauty and elegance - Strawberry Rosé! Just like our mums :)

Our proudest creation to date, our Orange Whiskey ice cream is not a flavor you can find elsewhere(we’ve tried). The tangy and refreshing taste of orange brings this ice cream to life, while the subtle flavor of whiskey gives it character. This one is uniquely Milky Way!

And yes that’s a 12 year single malt scotch :) only good stuff here.

This Mother’s Day, we’ve decided to team up with some of our talented local creator/baker friends to put up a gift bundle that is bound to wow.

Our specially put together Mothers’ Day gift bundle includes a 4-inch Earl Grey Sponge Cake with Lychee Jelly & Strawberry Jam, a pint of 16oz Strawberry Rosé Artisanal Ice cream, a 200ml Rose Essential Oil Handmade Candle, a small tube of Roboch’s Babe in the Forest tea leaves, and a hand-drawn portrait illustration of your mom!

Our Strawberry Rosé Artisanal Ice cream is chock full of strawberries infused with Rosé wine, a popular medium sweet wine that is ideal for desserts. This is a delicate ice cream we’re proud to call ours!

Introducing our Mocha Guinness ice cream! Smooth, velvety chocolate, aromatic espresso beans and the bold taste of Guinness stout blend together into an amazing ice cream that is rich and creamy. It’s going to be hard to stop at one scoop.

Milky Way is a humble, home-based, two person operated ice cream creamery in the quaint little town of Miri. And when we say creamery we obviously mean a tiny machine in an average sized house 😉

What started off as fun little experiments to tickle our curiosity on our Monday off-days at home quickly became an obsessive endeavor to make the tastiest and smoothest ice cream we can.

When we gave out our first little tubs to friends and family and they told us they liked it, we were pleasantly surprised. So surprised that we thought we should start something. So here we are today - our very own ice cream business.

We hope you like what we make, and that you’re having as much fun eating them as we are having making them. After all, that’s what ice cream is about isn’t it? And if you are, stick along with us as we go on this magical ice cream journey!
