A macaron cake inspired by Pierre Herme. A 5 inch wide crunchy macaron cookie with a soft finish, envelops an refreshing filling made from a beautiful combination of fresh raspberries and smooth rose buttercream blended with lychees.

The infamous macarons may deceptively seem like a simple dessert, but these each little piece you sink a bite into was a result of a lot of time and effort. The entire process of making a macaron is the very foundation instilled in every professional pastry chef - precision and a sharp attention to detail. A lack of accuracy in any step of the process, determines the make or break of a perfectly raised macaron shell.
