On 26th October 2021, Deputy Speaker Hon. Dato’ Haji Mohd Rashid bin Hasnon Hj Rashid Hasnon had a courtesy visit to Ambassador of Hungary in Kuala Lumpur, H.E Dr. Petra Ponvács-Pana together with Honorary Consul of Hungary Dato Seri Damien Chua.

🇭🇺 I was always delighted to cheer at the Hungaroring. Räikkönen holds the record for the most podiums at the same Grand Prix (9), which he has achieved at the Hungarian Grand Prix (2003, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2017, 2018).

On 10th May 2021, in conjunction of Hari Raya Puasa, The Honorary Consulate Office gifted out hamper to YB. Zairil Khir Johari’s office, YB. Syerleena Bt. Abdul Rashid’s office, YB. Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Bin Ismail’s office, YB. Dato' Haji Abdul Halim Bin Haji Hussain’s office and TYT Tan Sri Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak’s Office as an appreciation and to celebrate Hari Raya Puasa.

During 8th – 9th April 2021, Honorary Consul of Hungary Dato Seri Damien Chua hosted a delegation trip for the Ambassador of Hungary Her Excellency Dr. Ponevacs-Petra Pana in Penang.

During this 2 days trip, the Ambassador had courtesy visit to Dato’ Ar. Yew Tung Seang - Mayor of Penang, Dato’ Seri Hong Yeam Wah – President of Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce, YB Dato’ Haji Abdul Halim Bin Haji Hussian – Exco of Trade, Industry and Entrepreneurial Development and YB. Prof. Dr. Rama Samy A/L Palanisamy – Deputy Chief Minister II.

Besides that, the Ambassador also had a dinner with Hungarian who residing in Penang at Top View Restaurant together with Penang Exco for Tourism Development, Heritage, Culture and Arts YB Yeoh Soon Hin, OCPD for Northeast District Police Headquaters ACP Soffian Bin Santong, and OCPD for Southwest District Police Headquaters YDH Supt. A.A. Anbalagan as special guest for the dinner.

The Ambassador also visited the Consular Office and Hungarian owned factory - Fastron Sdn Bhd located at Bayan Lepas.
