We had a great turnout at Elementary Connections on September 10th! Over 60 parents joined us to discuss setting healthy screen time boundaries for elementary children and learned tools for managing time and content. Special thanks to our awesome PTO parents for their support in making this event a success!

Introducing Dalat's newest addition — The Marina, the new home to our middle school students grades 5 through 8. The classrooms offer stunning views accompanied by the sound of waves, making for a truly unique and enjoyable learning environment.

School is back in session! Our first week of the year is done, and we are glad to see the campus brimming with life once again! There have been some great changes here at Dalat, especially our new Marina building and also new staff in various divisions. Stay tuned to see our post series introducing our new staff soon!

The high school's Visual Arts Festival was a resounding success! From live music and VR games to speed painting and a mystery artist, we hope everyone had a fun time checking out the art on display and participating in some of the planned activities. Haven't had a chance to view the art yet? Exhibits will remain up in Harbor Hall for the rest of the week until May 26.

We hope you’ve enjoyed the art exhibits by the elementary and middle schools that were on display this week! Our students have a lot of creative talent, and we are glad that these exhibits allow them to show that.

The high school art festival will take place today starting at 4:30 p.m. In addition to showcasing the students’ work, there will be a speed painting performance, an auction of original art, a food and craft sale, a VR game designed by alumni art students, and a docent-guided exhibition explaining the artwork. The HS art exhibit will be on display until May 24.

Another year of a long-standing Dalat tradition in the books: the Junior Senior Banquet! A themed prom night event planned by the juniors to honor the seniors, and a fun opportunity for everyone to dress up to the nines! The evening consisted of dinner with a show and senior tributes put on by the juniors. Well done juniors for making this a memorable evening!

Safety Week Highlights! 💻🚸

🎙️ Elementary students were treated to an exciting talk show chapel featuring Mrs. Kanagaraj, Mrs. Veerasingam, and Mrs. Neiger! They shared practical tips like what to do if you find yourself lost in a public place and how to identify trustworthy individuals to ask for help.

🔒 Middle and high school students deepened their understanding of online safety today! They explored the significance of being cautious about sharing personal information online and gained valuable knowledge on identifying online scams.

📚 Today, our amazing students learned some awesome strategies for staying safe while they're out and about. 🎒🚶‍♀️

🧠 The key concept to always keep in mind is situational awareness -- being aware of what's happening around you. 🌍👀

💡 It could mean putting away your phone while walking, taking out your earphones to hear your surroundings better, or being mindful of the nearest exit wherever you are! 📵👂💨

📱 Put your phone away and look up! It not only keeps you and others around you safe, but it also allows you to fully appreciate the beauty of the world we live in! 🌻🌍❤️
