📚This month, we're talking about "Between Two Kingdoms: A Memoir of a Life Interrupted" by Suleika Jaouad, a powerful story that explores resilience in the face of immense challenges as she straddles between the land of the sick and the well.

📖 A note from our LabCrew, Regina who recommends this book:
"The author is so raw and disarmingly honest in her memoir. There are times when you'll dislike her as she had no capacity to show empathy towards her caregivers, particularly her partner who stood by her through the hardest periods. Being a caregiver myself, the depiction of her journey helped me put into perspective the pain and suffering I could never imagine from the person I was caring for, who never complained once. The hardships someone has to go through when fighting a deadly disease, and the strength to endure all the treatments is something that I do not wish upon anyone, let alone someone I care about and love deeply. I loved the book because you also encounter people and families who also experience having a loved one in care or dealing with the grievances of a relatively similar fate, caught in the in-between."

In March, our had a memorable journey filled with meaningful moments. We kicked off the month by celebrating International Women’s Day by starting the day with a vision board workshop, followed by a choice of either a pilates session at The Flow Studio or a pampering session at Aizu.

Members also had the chance to unwind and recharge through a soothing sound bath session and explore their creative side with a candle-making workshop.

Wrapping up the month, we hosted CreativeMornings KL, where speaker Dinesha Karthigesu shared insightful perspectives on the month's theme.
