DON’T ARGUE WITH DONKEYS

The donkey said to the tiger:
– “The grass is blue”.

The tiger replied:
– “No, the grass is green.”

The discussion heated up, and the two decided to submit him to arbitration, and for this they went before the lion, the King of the Jungle.

Already before reaching the forest clearing, where the lion was sitting on his throne, the donkey began to shout:
– “His Highness, is it true that the grass is blue?”.

The lion replied:
– “True, the grass is blue.”

The donkey hurried and continued:
– “The tiger disagrees with me and contradicts and annoys me, please punish him.”

The king then declared:
– “The tiger will be punished with 5 years of silence.”

The donkey jumped cheerfully and went on his way, content and repeating:
– “The Grass Is Blue”…

The tiger accepted his punishment, but before he asked the lion:
– “Your Majesty, why have you punished me?, after all, the grass is green.”

The lion replied:
– “In fact, the grass is green.”

The tiger asked:
– “So why are you punishing me?”.

The lion replied:
– “That has nothing to do with the question of whether the grass is blue or green. The punishment is because it is not possible for a brave and intelligent creature like you to waste time arguing with a donkey, and on top of that come and bother me with that question.”

The worst waste of time is arguing with the fool and fanatic who does not care about truth or reality, but only the victory of his beliefs and illusions. Never waste time on arguments that don’t make sense…
There are people who, no matter how much evidence and evidence we present to them, are not in the capacity to understand, and others are blinded by ego, hatred and resentment, and all they want is to be right even if they are not.

When ignorance screams, intelligence is silent. Your peace and quiet are worth more.

Grammar & punctuation in Year 1 (age 5–6–7)

In Year 1, your child will learn to:

Leave spaces between words.

Put words together to make sentences.

Join words and clauses using and

Use capital letters, full stops, question marks, and exclamation marks.

Use capital letters for names and use I properly.

Turn words into plurals using -s or -es.

Adding suffixes to verbs without changing the root word, for example helping, helped, helper.

Using the prefix un- to change the meaning of verbs and adjectives, for example unkind and unclear

Putting sentences together to write short stories or anecdotes.

A Pastor asked an old farmer to say grace for the breakfast.
_"Lord, I hate buttermilk"_, the farmer began. The Pastor opened one eye to glance at the farmer and wonder where this was going.

The farmer continued, _"Lord, I hate lard and I don't much care for raw white flour"_. Now the Pastor was growing concerned and feeling uncomfortable.

Then the farmer added, _"But Lord, when You mix them all together and bake them, I do love warm fresh biscuits. So Lord, when things come up that we don't like, when life gets hard, when we don't understand what You're saying to us, help us to just relax and wait until You are done mixing. It will probably be even better than biscuits. Amen."_

Within that prayer, there is great wisdom for all when it comes to complicated situations like we are experiencing in the world today.

Stay strong, my friends, because our LORD is mixing several things that we don't really like, but something even better is going to come when HE is done with it. AMEN!

A king had many elephants, but one elephant was very powerful, very obedient, sensible and skillful in everything especially his fighting skills. In many wars, he was sent on the battlefield and he used to return only after getting victory for the king. Therefore, he was the most loved elephant of the king.

Time went by and there came a time when the elephant started getting old. Now he was not able to perform as before. Therefore, now the king did not even send him to the battlefield but he still remained as a part of the king's team.

One day the elephant went to a lake to drink water, but unfortunately his feet got stuck in the mud there and he went on sinking. He tried a lot, but he could not remove himself from the mud.

People came to know from the sound of his screams that the elephant was in trouble. The news of the elephant trapped also reached the king.

All the people, including the king, gathered around the elephant and made various efforts to get him out. But alas, even after trying for a long time, there was no way out.

At that time, a wise man was passing by. The wise man stopped and inspected the site of the incident and then suggested to the king that the battle drums should be played around the lake.

The listeners felt shocked at the bizarre suggestion as to how the trapped elephant would come out by playing the battle drums. But they could not say anything to the wise man and started playing the drums.

As soon as the drums of war started ringing, there was a change in the gestures, behaviour and determination of the troubled elephant.

At first, the elephant slowly stood up and then gradually used his force and intelligence and before long, came out of the mud on his own, shocking everyone. The wise man smiled and said:

There was no lack of physical ability in the elephant, but only the need to infuse enthusiasm, Motivation and Will within it was missing.

To maintain enthusiasm in life, it is necessary that humans maintain purposeful thinking and do not let despair dominate their thoughts.

*In today’s tough times* we all need to enthuse ourselves & people around us with Hope & enthusiasm by playing, if need be the *BATTLE DRUMS*, that we will again Celebrate Abundance of Joy, Health & Happiness.

"No," said Pooh after a bit. "No, I don't think I do."

"That's okay," said Piglet, and he came and sat beside his friend.

"What are you doing?" asked Pooh.

"Nothing, really," said Piglet. "Only, I know what Difficult Days are like. I quite often don't feel like talking about it on my Difficult Days either.

"But goodness," continued Piglet, "Difficult Days are so much easier when you know you've got someone there for you. And I'll always be here for you, Pooh."

And as Pooh sat there, working through in his head his Difficult Day, while the solid, reliable Piglet sat next to him quietly, swinging his little legs...he thought that his best friend had never been more right."
