Dear Da Xi Customers and Friends,
After months of consideration, we would like to announce that December 2022 will be the last month that we are operating in PJ SS2.
Da Xi Kopitiam has seen 2 wonderful years. It was started out by a young couple who bravely took up the challenge of building a comfortable and clean kopitiam which serve good local traditional breakfast, kopi and food.
Closing Da Xi is one of the hardest decision we made this year however as a new married couple with a newborn baby, there are many new commitments to focus on which no longer allow us to dedicate ourselves to the business in the way it deserves. Nevertheless, Da Xi is a shop that we are incredibly proud of and it remains close to our hearts.
You might see Da Xi again in the future or in another state but till then, our last day of operation in PJ SS2 will be on Saturday, 31 December 2022. We thank you all for your support.
Like the name of Da Xi, we wish you abundance of great happiness in life and hope we will meet again! ❤️

不知不觉大喜已经在pj SS2经营了两年。结业对于我们来说是个困难的决定但权衡之下由于无法兼顾所以还是做出了这个决定。
但还是谢谢大家这两年来对大喜的支持，喜爱和照顾。 12月31号（星期六）将会是我们最后营业的最后一天。

We often receive 'love notes' from many of our talented customer especially during weekends because it is family day and kids follow to dine in. 😂
Sometimes we keep these 'love notes' because we appreciate the effort made utilizing the order chit paper but really, isn't this lovely ? 😄
Should we organize a campaign/competition to get the kids draw the food they ordered ? 🤔💓
我们时常会收到许许多多的“爱心画”尤其是周末的时候因为小孩会跟着父母一起出来用餐😂
老实说我们有时真的会把这些可爱的“爱心画”留下来因为真的蛮可爱的（有好几次小孩会吵着父母回来拿）。

不知道你从小吃到大的comfort food是什么，但讲起comfort food我的其中一个绝对是叉烧云吞面😋
小篇我比较喜欢有弹性但不会太黑的全旦面，配一些瘦而不硬的叉烧，然后总喜欢把云吞从汤里捞起来放进碗里让它粘一点叉烧汁再配一点青辣椒吃下去，一个字---爽！
虽然现在市面上流行比较肥的叉烧云吞面，但到头来我还是喜欢这个小时候吃的味道。可能这是我记忆里那个妈妈说“生个叉烧好过生你”画面的味道吧🤣
