Today, we announced the results for our financial year ended 30 June 2024 (FY2024).

After a year of strategic moves and solid growth, FY2024 closed on a strong note with an outstanding net profit of RM3.3 billion, more than doubling the previous year’s figures.

“Despite facing considerable challenges during the year, our performance was solid, demonstrating the resilience and robustness of our diverse business portfolio across the various markets,” said Dato’ Jeffri Salim Davidson, Sime Darby Berhad’s Group Chief Executive Officer.

For the Group’s fourth quarter ended 30 June 2024 (Q4 FY2024), net profit was recorded at RM89 million. Revenue for the quarter improved by 41.4% to RM18.8 billion, compared with RM13.3 billion in Q4 FY2023.

Minggu Amanah Saham Malaysia (MSAM) 2024 is a wrap!

What an incredible 4-day event! The closing ceremony, officiated by YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin bin Shari, marked the end of this exciting event. We were honoured to host him at the Sime Darby Pavilion, where visitors enjoyed stunning displays of BMW, MINI and Motorrad models, exclusive BMW lifestyle deals and much more.

It was truly a pleasure to showcase our businesses and brands throughout the event, highlighting the strength and breadth of the Sime Darby family. Caterpillar’s powerful machinery diorama, Hertz’s versatile rental services, offerings from KINETA and a display from UMW drew in crowds keen to explore.

For the first time in MSAM’s history, we brought to life the AutoMania festival, featuring our brands from Sime Darby Motors, including BMW, MINI, Motorrad, BYD, Hyundai, Ford and Volvo. Visitors had the opportunity to test-drive the latest EVs and explore pre-owned cars from Sime Darby Auto Selection.

As MSAM 2024 concludes, we celebrate the connections we’ve made and the future we’re building together, embracing the spirit of innovation, sustainability, and community that defines Sime Darby Berhad.
