We always believe balance and portion size is key when it comes to food. Even though our spiral taro pastries are lower in calories, we want to point out that portion size is important too as our pastries weigh about 75-80g, a perfect size for those who want to indulge in a mooncake during this festive season.
We have been seeing many posts taking several types of mooncakes and comparing calories between them.
Whether it is a snow skin mooncake, musang king mooncake, Shanghai mooncake, traditional mooncake, it is okay to eat them, as long as you know how to control yourself.
It is not wrong to eat baked goods, we all know baked goods do have saturated fats, it’s unavoidable. We just need to have the mentality that it’s okay to eat them as long as we know how to balance our remaining meals of the day. 😊 Even if we do overeat mooncakes during this period of time, do not feel guilty 😌

Yes, the yams and purple sweet potatoes that we use to make our spiral taro fillings are organic! 100% preservative and colouring free!

As you can see that we also left a few taro chunks in our fillings to give the Taro lovers out there some extra-syok when they are eating them😋

We do not buy all our yams and keep them in our storage area for a long time, we usually buy them close to the production date. This is because we want our customers to taste the fresh yams when they are taking a bite into our spiral taro pastry!

Quality is something our brand truly stands by for, all our ingredients are premium and we really do take note of what we put into the foods that we create too!
