It was video 9 years ago at our old shop. The 'handsome man' inside is the founder of Chan Meng Kee Restaurant - Chef Chan Yoke Pui. Many people thought that his name is 'Chan Meng', actually not. So why Chan Meng Kee? Here's the answer:

In 2008, Chef Chan finally secured his own standalone restaurant to pursue his dream of having his own branded Char Siew Wanton Noodles. He named the restaurant “Chan Meng Kee”. “Chan” is his surname. “Meng Kee” is the reminiscence of his favorite childhood Char Siew stall. He believes that the name “Chan Meng Kee” symbolizes the combination of a heavenly tasting char siew from two generations.

The interview is in Cantonese dialet, one of the most common Chinese dialet in KL. In this video, Chef Chan introduced the top 5 signatures dishes of Chan Meng Kee. Thanks to our customers' support all these years, these top 5 signature dishes is now available for you at both and .

Chef Chan's ambition is to let everyone knows what is the Malaysian KL style wan ton noodle. In year 2018, he has been invited to attend to the Taiwan, Taipei, . Le Palais a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Restaurant. In this a week long event, Chef Chan represented our Malaysian-Chinese cruisine, and has successfully presented his specialities : cantonese-style crispy Roast Pork Belly ( ) and caramelised BBQ Pork ( ). The event was held successfully and it was reported by most of the social media in Taiwan, Taipei.
