Remind me of my own experience in Singapore.
Few years back, when I was having short vacation, I met a young Chinese lady working in Bugis Street.
While I'm looking at some clothes to buy at her shop and asking for other variety colors and sizes (we both was speaking in English in that time), something clicked on my mind (and maybe hers too at same time), we started to speak in Malay, suddenly, from nowhere, and happily like a long lost friend and even have a decent good chat and our conversation went from clothes to 'kampung halaman' and how tasty Malaysian nasi lemak with Singaporean version 🤣
To the 'Ipoh girl' that I met in Bugis Street 4years back and bought red cardigan and gave me good discount because I'm a Malaysian😁, I still remember you. Thank you for your hospitality and remind me Malaysian Spirit ❤️.
