Pada 16 Ogos 2024, APEL Centre Asia e University (AeU) dengan bangganya telah menyertai Majlis Amanat Perdana Perkhidmatan Awam Ke-19 (MAPPPA XIX) di Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC). Asia e University was honored to receive a special visit from distinguished delegates representing several leading universities in Indonesia. The delegation, led by Prof. Dr. Tulus Suryanto, MM., Akt., CA.CMA, CFA, ACPA, President of the ASEAN Academic Association and Dean at AFEBIS, engaged in fruitful discussions with our leadership team on potential collaborations and academic partnerships.

We believe that this visit has paved the way for future collaborations that will benefit our students and faculty alike. AeU is committed to working closely with our Indonesian counterparts to achieve our common goals 🎓

Founder President of Asia e University, Prof. Dato' Dr. Ansary Ahmed, a respected member of UNESCO, recently attended the Institute for Information Technologies in Education (IITE) Governing Board Annual Meeting. As one of the 11 distinguished members appointed by UNESCO's Director-General, he is playing a pivotal role in shaping global educational policies.

The IITE Governing Board is entrusted with guiding the Institute’s overall direction, approving key programs and budgets, and ensuring the effective operation of its initiatives. These annual meetings are crucial in influencing the global educational agenda.

Looking ahead, AeU is eager to engage in future projects, particularly in supporting the annual conference and activities of the Global MOOC and Online Education Alliance. Our commitment to advancing online education and fostering global collaboration remains steadfast as we continue to contribute to transformative educational initiatives worldwide.

Hosted by Beijing Normal University in collaboration with UNESCO IITE, the Commonwealth of Learning (COL), the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO), and other global partners, the conference explored "Education Transformation & International Understanding.

High-level dialogues, workshops, and discussions on smart education policies and innovations were discussed to release research findings and collaboration plans, showcase exemplary cases and solutions, and facilitate in-depth exchanges and collaboration to collectively pave the way for a brighter future in smart education for all of humanity. Prof Dato Dr. Ansary (Founder President of Asia e University), who was also appointed as the advisor to the GSENet, presented a keynote on Smart Education yesterday.

'Agriculture Drone Operation: Mapping & Spraying' training has been successfully held from 22 to 26 July 2024. The training was organized by SPEED at Asia e University in collaboration with Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia UTHM Drone Academy and it was part of the Program Latihan Madani.

The training equipped attendees with cutting-edge skills in drone technology for agricultural applications. It covered comprehensive modules on drone operation, mapping, and spraying techniques, ensuring participants were well-prepared for practical field applications.

At the closing ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Mohammad Zulafif Bin Rahim from UTHM Drone Academy, representing Head of SPEED, Philip Lim, presented the training certificates to the participants. He commended their dedication and achievements, marking this training as a significant step forward in advancing agricultural practices through technology. The program has fostered innovation and enhanced productivity, with positive feedback from participants reflecting its success and impact on modernizing agricultural operations.
