Northern Community Basketball Association

Earlier this year, 3 members of NCBA had passed the Basketball Coaching Course Level 1 and will be certified as MABA Coach Level 1.

Today, we had taken another small step forward by collabrating with MABA, PBA & DTL in organizing the Basic Referee & Table Officers Course at A-Zone Basketball Court, Seberang Jaya. More than 20 NCBA members had joined this course and hopefully will pass the test to become a certified referee.

Since the beginning of NCBA, our aim is to create an NC basketball community and our community vision not only consist of great basketball players but certified basketball coaches and referee.

We are still far from complete and we will keep on moving forward.

We really appreciate the support from MABA, PBA and DTL. We also would like to thanks the Honorable Deputy Secretary General of MABA, Mr. Sim Sin Heng who is willing to come to Penang to support and officiate the opening ceremony of the course.

There will be further discussion and meeting with Y.B. for the sake of NC basketball development in Penang as well as the northern region.

Hello Predators!

Tomorrow will be the last day of 2nd Penang National Community (NC) Basketball Championship. The last match North VS Predators will decides who will be the Champion, 1st Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up of the championship. The games will start at 5:00 PM with the closing ceremony starts at 8:00 PM. Come and support these exciting matches at Akira Basketball Court, Seberang Jaya!

Moving forward towards our main goal to build a solid northen NC basketball community. Basketball Session-Meeting-Gathering. The event was attended by various NC players/teams from different part of the Penang and northen area. Even though not everyone could attend tonight, the main purpose of the event had been achieved which to have everyone understand the direction that we are moving to and the goals the we are going to achieve. Thank you to everyone who had attended this event and to those who couldn't attend tonight's event, hope to see you again during the next meeting.

New phase of basketball transformation incoming.

It has been nearly 2 years since the last time Predators Basketball Club made an appearance on the court as a team. After the Penang Island League in 2015, we parted our own ways while others are much earlier. Not because of our bond had been broken but a higher priority responsibilities.

We continue to meet each other, the only difference is that we are on the opposite side of the court. But the sense of attachment with this team far greater than others and will always be. We are more than just a club. We are more than just a team. We are a family that once shares the same passion, the same desire and we still are.
