Pada tanggal 14 Disember 2023, badan korporat UMW telah melancarkan projek WOW Box yang keempat berlokasi di UMW Lubetech Sdn Bhd. Projek WOW Box ini bertujuan untuk menggalakkan amalan 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) dalam kalangan WOWriors.

Projek WOW Box yang keempat di UMW Lubetech Sdn. Bhd. telah dirasmikan oleh En. Anas Nasrun Mohd Osman, Pengarah Kumpulan Bahagian Pembuatan & Kejuruteraan UMW, disaksikan oleh En. Idzam Yuhaizi Mohd Yunos, Ketua Kumpulan, Pengurusan Risiko & Integriti UMW.

Turut hadir adalah En. Farhan Azizi, wakil daripada Alam Flora Environment Solutions (AFES). AFES adalah syarikat pengurusan sisa pepejal yang membekalkan WOW Box kepada Kumpulan UMW.

Merafak sembah dan setinggi-tinggi ucapan tahniah Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj, Sultan dan Yang DiPertuan Negeri Selangor Darul Ehsan serta segala daerah takluknya sempena ulang tahun hari Keputeraan baginda yang ke-78.

On Monday, 27th November 2023 UMW Lubetech Sdn Bhd have officially opened its new and automated lubricants blending plant in Pulau Indah Industrial Park, Klang.

The Grand Opening Ceremony of the new lubricants plant was officiated by YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, the Menteri Besar of Selangor, accompanied by En. Megat Shahrul Azmir, Officer-in-Charge, UMW Group/President, Equipment Division and En. Anas Nasrun Mohd Osman, Group Director, Manufacturing & Engineering Division. Also present were senior Selangor state government officials and the Board of Directors and management of UMW Group.

Not just that, UMW Grantt International Sdn Bhd also have officially launched its all new packaging that was led by YAB' Dato Seri Amirudin Shari. The goal of launching the new packaging is to enhance competitiveness while offering a more comprehensive and appealing selection to meet the evolving needs of consumers.

On 6 April 2023, UMW Grantt International Sdn Bhd (UMWG) hosted an iftar with 45 orphans from Rumah Amal Al-Firdaus at Urban Park Alam Impian, Shah Alam.

The event started with a welcoming speech from General Manager of UMW Grantt International Sdn Bhd, En. Mohd Asri Jusoh and followed by giving ‘duit raya’ and goodies bags to the orphans of Rumah Amal Al-Firdaus.

UMWG also donated RM1,000 to Rumah Amal Al-Firdaus, which was presented by En. Mohd Asri Jusoh. One of the main highlights of the event was the 360-photo booth where guests and families took photos for memories.

The event ended with a group photo session.

We hope you enjoyed the iftar and had a good time with your families and the orphans of Rumah Amal Al-Firdaus.

On 13 February 2023, we had Lubetech's Townhall for Q1 2023 & Lubetech’s New Pulau Indah Plant Visit.

We started the day with Lubetech's Q1 Townhall with En. Anas Nasrun Mohd Osman, Group Director of M&E Division and En. Mohd Asri Jusoh, General Manager of Lubetech Sdn Bhd, where they shared about Lubetech’s vision for 2023 and how we will move forward with our new plant in Pulau Indah Industrial Park.

After the townhall ended, everyone gathered in their assigned groups and boarded the bus to visit our new plant in Pulau Indah. Once arrived, we were given a detailed tour of the new plant.

We hope the trip has given an opportunity to see the capacity of our new plant. Here’s to an exciting new journey in 2023!
