UPDATED OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE BEER FACTORY RAWANG

As soon as we were notified that one of our customers have tested covid positive, we immediately stopped operations, sanitised the outlet and sent all our staffs for testing.

We are glad to inform that we have just received the test results for all our staffs in The Beer Factory Rawang of which all results are confirmed negative for COVID-19. We would like to highlight that The Beer Factory operates on a policy that only fully vaccinated staffs are allowed to work.

During the closure of Rawang outlet, thorough disinfecting, cleaning and deep sanitization were completed. We are cleared to operate as per the KKM guidelines and we will be reopening tomorrow 11/9/2021.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE BEER FACTORY RAWANG

At The Beer Factory, the safety and wellbeing of our people and the community will always be our top priority. Unfortunately, we have just been notified that 1 of our customer that visited The Beer Factory Rawang on 5/9/2021 has been confirmed positive for COVID-19. The outlet has been closed as precautionary measure and we will stay temporarily closed for thorough disinfection and deep sanitisation until post close contact quarantine period as advised by KKM with only staffs that are confirmed negative being allowed to return to work.

As everyone’s well-being is of utmost importance, we have taken the following precautionary measures:
- Ensured that all staffs are given stay-at-home orders for the designated quarantine period following KKM guidelines.
- Thorough disinfecting, cleaning and deep sanitisation for Rawang outlet.
- Continue to practice extensive precautionary measures in place and reinforce importance of social distancing, temperature checks and sanitising measures across all our other restaurants.

We urge those who have visited The Beer Factory Rawang between 5/9/2021 - 8/9/2021 to get tested.
