Its origin: Do you know how dim sum comes to life?

According to history, there were Chinese travelers who were traveling along the Silk Road. Along the journey, they need a place to rest and they drop by a teahouse.

During that time, drinking tea is well encouraged as it was believed to aid digestion.
Hence, teahouses started serving food in small portions to pair with their tea and encourage more people to try their drinks.

That was the pairing of dim sum and tea began!
