CELFE extends its sincere condolences to the monarch's family, the people and the government of the United Kingdom on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty was a towering figure and led a lifetime of dedication and service to the people of the UK and the Commonwealth.
In 1957, Malaysia proclaimed its independence and became a democratic country. The people live harmoniously and the culture of Malaysia is so diverse, thanks to the unique influence from the east and west of this country. Since the declaration of independence, Malaysia has had its share of achievements and world records, including the Petronas Twin Towers which is the tallest twin tower in the world. Apart from its infrastructure advancements, Malaysia has also shown its technological and economical capability by producing its very first automobile brand in 1985, named Proton, and exporting its cars to many countries around the globe. We at the University of Nottingham Malaysia are proud to celebrate Malaysia’s National Day on the 31 August as it marks freedom and pride to call ourselves SAYA ANAK MALAYSIA!

CELFE is proud to announce that one of our current foundation in Business and Management (FBM) students, 17 year-old Bhumi Mudgal has published her 2nd book! Bhumi loves writing poems and stories to help her deal with emotional challenges and heal.
She was bullied as child because of her eye condition,
Optical Neuritis. She says even as a child she was aware that her bullies were also children who did not know better, so she started writing to flush out negative emotions. She now writes about a variety of topics, and she hopes to create a difference for people who shared similar experiences or condition.
A lovely review from one reader: "This is a great compilation of short poems depicting the various facets of life from the lens of a teenager."
