Hi everyone!
This week at school, we learned about the 6 Pillars of Faith in Islam.

Belief in Allah: We believe in one God, Allah, who created everything and is very powerful.

Belief in Angels (Mala'ika): Angels are special beings made by Allah. They deliver messages and do what Allah tells them to do.

Belief in the Prophets: Allah sent many prophets to guide people, starting with Adam and ending with Muhammad (peace be upon them all).

Belief in the Book of Allah: Allah gave us special books to learn from, like the Torah, Psalms, Gospel, and the Quran, which is the last and complete book.

Belief in the Day of Judgment: One day, everyone will come back to life, and Allah will see what good and bad things they did.

Belief in Qadhaa & Qadar: Allah knows everything that will happen, but we still make our own choices and are responsible for them.

These 6 Pillars help Muslims understand their faith, pray, and be good to others. It was fun learning about them! 🌟

May this Eid Adha bring you and your loved ones abundant blessings. Let us come together to celebrate this auspicious occasion of faith, unity, and sacrifice. The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
أَعْظَمَ الأَيَّامِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ ثُمَّ يَوْمُ الْقَرِّ
The greatest day in the sight of God is the Day of Sacrifice, then the day of settling in Mina which is the eleventh day of the month of Zulhijjah.
May your prayers be answered, your sacrifices be accepted, and your heart be filled with contentment.

Berpuasa pada Hari Arafah adalah amalan yang sangat mulia dan dianjurkan dalam Islam. Ia bukan sahaja menghapuskan dosa selama dua tahun, tetapi juga mendekatkan diri kepada Allah dan meningkatkan keimanan dan ketakwaan kita.

Mari kita bersama-sama mengambil peluang ini untuk berpuasa pada Hari Arafah dan meraih keberkatan dan ganjaran yang dijanjikan oleh Allah SWT.

Semoga kita semua diberi kekuatan dan keikhlasan untuk melaksanakan ibadah ini dengan penuh keimanan. Aamiin.

Tips balik Kampung bersama si Kecil

Hari raya bakal menjelma! Ini lah masanya untuk berjumpa dengan saudara mara dan rakan-rakan terdekat serta menjamu selera dengan juadah-juadah yang pelbagai!

Walaupun seronok nak sambut hari raya, kita perlu membuat persiapan untuk perjalanan pulang ke kampung agar anda dan anak-anak kekal gembira dan selamat.

1. Pastikan anak-anak sudah makan
Makan sebelum memulakan perjalanan agar perut anak-anak tidak masuk angin.

2. Early Explanation
Terangkan kepada anak-anak yang perjalanan kali ini bukan perjalanan yang biasa setiap hari kita pergi.

3. Pakaian yang sesuai

Piilih pakaian dan kasut yang selesa untuk anak-anak kerana mereka akan berada di dalam kereta untuk masa yang agak lama daripada kebiasaan mereka.

4. Sediakan payung sebelum hujan

Set pertolongan cemas yang mengandungi plaster dan minyak angin sangat penting jika berlaku apa-apa. Sediakan juga tisu dan beg plastik untuk kebersihan kereta.

5. Makanan dan minuman
Bawa sedikit makanan ringan dan air untuk perjalanan kerana mungkin R&R masih jauh tetapi anak-anak sudah lapar.

At CIC, we’re thrilled to bring an incredible learning experience to our young leaders with our Hajj Simulation Activity!

We, as students, will dress in simple white garments, just like the real Ihram attire worn by pilgrims. This symbolizes purity and equality before Allah. We'll learn about its importance and the ritual of Tawaf, where we’ll walk around a model Kaaba seven times, just like real pilgrims do!

Next, we will walking back and forth between our Safa and Marwah stations. This activity teaches us about perseverance and faith.

At our Mina station, we will throw our collected pebbles at pillars representing the devil, symbolizing the rejection of temptation and wrongdoing.

Hello everyone! Today, we are excited to share a special journey called Hajj. It’s a pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia, and it’s one of the Five Pillars of Islam.

Hajj is a religious trip that every Muslim tries to make at least once in their lifetime, if they can. It happens during the last month of the Islamic calendar, Dhul-Hijjah.

Hajj is very important for Muslims because it brings the Muslim community together and shows their devotion to Allah. It’s a time for reflection, seeking forgiveness, and starting fresh.

Nine Sunnahs to Follow on the First Ten Days of Dhul-Hijjah The first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are the most virtuous days of the year, in which Allah (swt) has blessed his Ummah with opportunities to multiply their rewards through His infinite mercy. These days are so sacred that Allah swears an oath by them:‘By the dawn; by the ten nights’ [The Noble Qur’an, 89:1-2].

1. Dhikr
2. Fast the first nine days If you are unable to fast for the whole nine days, try to fast on just the Day of ’Arafah, the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah.
3. Recite Qur’an
4. Remember loved ones
5. Pray Tahajjud
6. Give Sadaqah
7. Repent
8. Pray Eid Salah
9. Give a Prophetic Qurbani

The Hajj has a rich history, tracing back to the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) and his family, who were tested by Allah in various ways. The rituals of Hajj commemorate the trials and triumphs of Prophet Ibrahim, his wife Hajar, and their son Ismail.

This week at CIC, we had an incredible experience with our Hajj simulation! We, the young leaders of CIC, learned so much and had lots of fun.

Our teacher told us all about the Hajj and why it’s so important for Muslims. We learned that millions of people go to Mecca to perform Hajj, just like Prophet Ibrahim did a long time ago. We were so excited to start our own Hajj journey!

We made our own special clothes called Ihram. Boys wore white cloth, and girls wore white dresses. This made us feel like real pilgrims getting ready for Hajj. We learned that wearing Ihram helps us all look the same and reminds us that everyone is equal before Allah.

We made a model of the Kaaba in our classroom! It was amazing. We walked around it seven times, just like the real Tawaf in Mecca. Our teacher explained that the Kaaba is the house of Allah, and we pray facing it every day.

May Allah cleanse our souls, grant us inner peace, and shower His blessings upon us. Hajj Mubarak! On this sacred occasion, may our prayers be answered and our hearts be filled with the solace of divine forgiveness. May Allah's mercy guide us throughout our pilgrimage.

At CIC, we also offer an after-school program called CIC Al-Muhtadeen.

This program aims to enhance students' knowledge and skills in religious and moral education, upholding the legacy of Islam.

Our goal is to develop well-rounded individuals who are prepared for success in both this world and the hereafter.

Our young leaders will embark on a fun and educational journey, simulating the Hajj pilgrimage right here at our center.

This special week is designed to help our students understand the significance of Hajj while engaging in a variety of enjoyable activities.

CIC will be closed tomorrow due to our Quarterly Meeting and Training with all teachers.

At CIC, we prioritize the continuous professional development of our teachers. To ensure our educators are well-equipped with the latest teaching strategies and skills, we organize comprehensive training sessions four times a year. These sessions are in addition to the induction training provided to all new teachers joining our team.

So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone].

At CIC, we're thrilled to present the CIC Oxford Reading Tree, an amazing reading program crafted to make learning to read fun and engaging for children. Dive into the magical world of reading with us!

Oxford Reading Tree stories at stages 1-4 feature settings and situation most children will find familiar. It reflect the experiences of most preschool children and their imagination.

Children of this age will readily with the characters and situations as it helps them build their comprehensive skills.

Oxford Reading Tree at stories at stages 5-9 continues to feature the familiar characters from previous stages in stories that reflect the experiences of most children .

Reading this book will enable children to practice different reading skills and continue to develop word recognition and language comprehensive skills.
