Customer complain: Honda HRV Hybrid gear slipping and rough gear change.

Diagnostic: There are 3 main components of the Honda hybrid DCT. Clutch actuator, clutch assembly and clutch release bearing. Either one of these items failed will cause the problems described above.

Action: After removing the clutch assembly from the gearbox, we notice that the clutch release bearing is broken and the clutch pad are worn. Swapped with a new one, perform clutch learning and the problem is solved.

🙎‍♂️Customer complain: Audi A6 Hybrid rough shifting and unable to shift completely after some time.

🧑‍🔧Diagnostic: Mixture of coolant and transmission fluid. If coolant mixes with the transmission fluid, it can lead to inadequate lubrication, which might cause increased friction, overheating, and eventually, significant damage to the transmission components.

🛠️Action: Complete transmission overhaul. The clutch plate are heavily damaged because of poor lubrication. O-ring, oil seal and piston are hardened as a result of transmission overheating.

🙎‍♂️Customer complain: Ford Fiesta unable to shift gear.

🧑‍🔧Diagnostic: Faulty TCM. TCM is responsible for controlling the transmission's shifting mechanism, and when it fails, it can cause problems such as rough shifting, unable to shift into certain gears, sudden loss of power, and in some cases, complete transmission failure.

🛠️Action: Replace the faulty TCM and program the newly installed TCM.
