A Flashback of SADC Competition 2022

We are delighted to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to PAM Northern Chapter (PAMNC), Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang - MBPP (MBPP), NS BlueScope Malaysia (NSBSM), and Le Nam Megasheet (LNM) for honoring us with the prestigious Popularity Award in the Steel Architecture Design (SADC) Competition 2022. The prize-giving ceremony took place on the memorable date of 17th June 2023.

We extend our sincere thanks to the public who showed their support and voted for our design. Without all of you, this award would not have been possible. Your encouragement and appreciation have profoundly motivated us to strive for excellence in our creative endeavors.

Receiving this recognition is truly humbling, and it inspires us to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation in the field of architecture. Our team is committed to working harder, and we hope to make even greater contributions to the industry.

Oasis @ ARCHIDEX 2023, designed by WY Ong Architect

Uniting Wellness, Sustainability, and Futuristic City Design in an Interactive Space

Located in Hall 8 of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, Oasis is a pavilion that serves as a showcase for the Future City Competition Award and the ARCHIDEX Star Award. It features a gym area, a book exhibition area, a relaxing oasis, and a stage for inspiring speakers. The pavilion aims to create a tropical green immersive environment that not only promotes physical and mental well-being but also showcases innovative ideas for sustainable urban development. Drawing inspiration from the concepts of well-being and sustainability, Oasis incorporates recycled materials such as scaffolding and fencing from the sponsors, along with abundant greenery, to create a unique and immersive experience for visitors.

Lego House: Our design proposal for Future House 2030 Competition

Typical terrace houses today unable to meet the needs of all owners, hence the extensive upgrades will be conducted by owners. This will result in a lot of unnecessary construction waste. Therefore, Lego-House brings freedom to the owners, they allow to customize their home based on their requirement. It takes a futuristic approach which the modular makes owners resemble a spaceship more than a house, with uncontaminated aesthetic that appears almost too flawless to be lived in. Curve lines and unexpected sizes add visual interest to the form, giving this contemporary design home an ultra-modern twist.
