First, they came for the Timbs, now, it’s Carhartt jackets.⁠

Carhartt-esque jackets have are all over the runway, with luxury brands introducing their own versions of the Detroit workwear company’s signature layering pieces.⁠

At ’s Fall/Winter 2024 runway show, ’s gold-riveted chore coats were an opulent acknowledgment of Carhartt’s eternal cultural relevance. and translated codes into luxurious layering pieces.⁠

At and , Carhartt was pedestaled into two different flavors of luxury. The debonair Prada man offsets his trim coats and tailored slacks with a slouchy chore coat, while Miu Miu features garment-dyed work hoodies and painter jeans.⁠
