马来西亚吉隆坡 三月六日讯 (Issuewire.com) - 成立于半个多世纪前的全国冠军日新中学华乐团踏足国油交爱乐音乐厅，创下乐团和学校的又一个历史新高。 该华乐团由在籍中学生组成，由槟城著名指挥家林顺有先生指挥。 在林先生和他的导师同事以及日新高中顾问老师的领导下，该团立下了许多里程碑。 众多里程碑之一就是是连续多次荣获得全国华乐比赛公开组冠军。 日新华乐团培养及塑造了许多年轻才俊和青年音乐家。 该乐团的最高成就之一是在第三届北京民间音乐邀请赛中获得金奖。

与西洋管弦乐队不同，中国乐器过去给人的印象是只演奏丧乐和京剧音乐，甚至在华人社区也很不受欢迎。 日新中学华乐团在著名音乐家、指挥家林顺有先生的带领下，经过三十多年的非常有系统的培训和领导，由学生团员自行管理，由学校自行维持才形成今天的队形以及阵容。 林先生毕业于北京大学文化艺术管理研究科，是少数能够被委任为中国民族管弦乐学会指挥专业委员会荣誉委员的马来西亚音乐家之一。 作为一位充满热情和奉献毕生精神的音乐教育家，林先生曾指导过马来西亚许多华乐团和年轻音乐家。 对于他的许多学生来说，他不仅仅是一名教练和指挥，他也是他们的榜样和楷模。

这场音乐会的节目是为了纪念中马建交50周年而精心策划。 李博禅的《楚颂》原为双二胡协奏曲，现被改编为二胡大提琴双协奏，是中西乐器结合的一次新尝试。 观众可以期待被来自神秘遥远国度的古老曲调带入一段穿越时间和文化的引人入胜的旅程。 除了中国古乐之外，观众还可以欣赏到由台湾著名作曲家卢亮辉编曲的优美马来经典歌瑶，以及许多其他古典华乐作品。

Business is not anything unusual but I found this out the hard way. Back when I was just a wee lad, I hated the thought of business. At that time, my impression was that it was a dog-eat-dog world. That term is often spoken and used to describe business. But my character and temperament is such that I thought it was unsuitable for business. After all, it is often said that, "Edwin is a nice guy". Oh, that term really irks me. I'm not sure why.

So my journey to discover the world of business was when I bought something from a convenient store. Somehow, the thought just flashed into my head as I was paying for something that ... this is business. It was so simple and so profound that I couldn't really describe it. And here, I used the illustration that if I had a fish and my neighbor has a chicken, what would it take for me to have that chicken?
