My first and only water color painting I did around 2001 if I remember correctly. Saved from the bin by my mom in law and she gave it new life with this awesome frame.

Not my normal style but was nice to shake things up a bit!

Old photo printed on canvas I took in the lovely Bazaruto Archipelago - manually photoshopped with oil paint as canvas got damaged after the last cyclone. Kinda like it this way ...

After a quite long absense, I am back.
Only to notice that facebook changed so much I will have to google just to see how to manage my own page again... O the joys.
Anywayyyy......I want to add some new projects I am working on and thinking of testing an online sales platform.

Printed a photo on canvas about 3 years ago - have you ever seen photo shop manually? Canvas got damaged after heavy rains so all the niceness got lost - so I decided to add it on with oil paint! Kinda like this one. On a wooden frame so this will be easy to take down and rolled up for easy transport.

My son designed a whale with the jellyfish and I just had to paint it....kinda cool don't you think?

I am Denise Grobler - an artist. Born in South Africa and living in Mozambique from 2008 and still enjoying it here.
I don't think I am weird, although my family will not agree with this...
I have started drawing with pencils since primary school and always had to draw everybody's Biology/Science/Art pictures and I loved it. In Secondary School, I did not get the opportunity to study art in school and also not after school, BUT this did not stop me from drawing and painting every opportunity. Where other teenagers hung out in clubs, I was drawing pictures while classical music blasted in my ears - until my dad will come in at 2:00 am and chased me to bed...
