This August, make every day Spa Day, with our hand-curated selection of luxurious, pampering and invigorating ranges. From exquisite linen to the softest bath towels; heavenly bath goodies to creams, lotions, spritzes and oils that will breathe new life into your skin.

There’s no such thing as too much self-care, so make this the month you make pampering yourself a daily habit.

A must for the winter home is plenty of ambient light – you can do this in easy and inexpensive ways.

For instance:
- Dust off those extra lamps in the garage and place them on side tables in dark spots of the house.
- Only use soft yellow bulbs and not harsh led bulbs in your living space lamps.
- Add candles and the glow of a fireplace.

If you’ve never attempted to make gluhwein, maybe this winter you’ll add it to your snugglefest essentials?

Here’s an easy recipe to make this warm and comforting drink:

- Boil a cup of water and a bottle of red wine with ¾ cup sugar until the sugar dissolves.
- Reduce the heat and add 1 or 2 cinnamon sticks, 5 cloves, and the peel of one orange.
- Simmer gently for 30 minutes to one hour before serving warm.
- If you prefer something non-alcoholic, make your own Rooibos Chai, by crushing some cloves, peppercorns, cardamom and cinnamon, and placing them in a saucepan with water, Kalahari rooibos, ginger, and milk. Strain before serving.

Is comfort food your thing? Here’s our recipe for an easy, delicious tomato soup…

Chop one red onion, one garlic clove and one red pepper and sauté in olive oil, with salt, black pepper and some chilli flakes to taste. Add 4 cans of whole peeled tomatoes, a teaspoon of sugar and plenty of fresh or dried oregano. Simmer gently on low heat for 45 – 60 minutes. Blend, stir in a small punnet of cream and serve with toasted ciabatta. Yum!
