Today’s project management quote comes from Begoña García Fernández. Begoña is a civil engineer and associate director at Burmeister & Partners working as a Project Manager. Burmeister & Partners Pty Ltd have been providing engineering excellence since 1978. Begoña was a participant in the NBS PMP3 Boot Camp.

Based on the directives for the lock-down of the Khomas & Erongo regions and in line with the recommendations of social distancing issued by our Government as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak in Namibia, Burmeister & Partners are implementing measures to protect our staff, their families and our Clients from the risk of potential infection and also in an attempt to help curb the further spreading of the virus.

As a responsible corporate citizen, it is paramount that we continue to keep the economy active but ensure full cooperation and compliance with our Government’s efforts to fight the pandemic.

We will, therefore, implement REMOTE WORKING MEASURES which will be effective from 27 March 2020 up to and including 17 April 2020, or such date as reviewed and revised by the Company’s Directors based on any further directives issued by the Government.

Our head office in Windhoek, as well as our Swakopmund branch office, will, therefore, be physically closed during this time.
