As a BCom Financial Science graduate and BCom Honours Graduate in Internal Auditing, Misha is passionate about the convergence of auditing and finance and has a strong belief in the essential role auditing plays in business integrity and sustainability. She looks forward to making meaningful contributions to the Namibian economy through her work.

Meet Joe Mubusisi, an Analyst Intern from the 2024 Eos Academy cohort.

Joe is a final year Bachelor of Economics student at the Namibia University of Science and Technology who aspires to become an investment specialist. Before joining the Academy, he completed a semester exchange program at RWTH Aachen University with modules centred around strategic and transformational management. Joe’s proactive nature and thirst for knowledge make him a valuable addition to the 2024 cohort. We look forward to helping him reach his goals.

Eos Capital Associate Justine Shikomba joined The Acelera Jumpstart Program Demo Day panel of judges. The program is designed to promote creativity, innovation, and local entrepreneurship and saw entrepreneurs across various sectors showcase their ideas to a panel of judges for a chance to jumpstart their ideas and turn them into viable business ventures through training and funding.

We are excited to welcome Junior Business Analyst, Kelly Du Preez to the Eos Capital team. With two years of accounting studies and an ongoing pursuit of the Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) qualification, Kelly joins the team with a solid foundation in both accounting and administration. In addition, she has made significant contributions to various financial organisations, making her a stellar addition to the Eos team.

In a panel discussion at the Government Institutions Pension Fund - GIPF Responsible Investment Symposium, Eos Capital Value Creation Associate Principal David Muwonge unpacked responsible investment and provided valuable insights on Eos Capital’s approach to the integration of ESG in the investment process.

The symposium acted as a platform for stakeholder engagement, where leading partners, policymakers, investors and expert specialists convened and shared best practices to help shape our emerging future.

Etuna Hango, Senior Associate at Eos Capital, held a presentation at the recent Cirrus Capital Investor Conference. The presentation unpacked the importance of building connections and investing in Namibian infrastructure to achieve regional integration and create a positive socio-economic impact across Southern Africa.

The conference was held in Swakopmund and saw close to 100 professionals from various sectors including Namibian Corporates, SOEs, Investment, Regulatory, Government, and Financial institutions come together.

Eos Capital Associate, Zach Kauraisa joins team of experts involved in the ex*****on of the EU-led country report analysing the investment potential of Namibia’s critical minerals through the AfricaMaVal Project.

The project aims to foster partnerships between the EU and African countries, to support investments of the EU and European Industry in the Namibian mining sector, including the associated infrastructure and value chains.

Eos Capital, through the Namibia Infrastructure Development and Investment Fund (NIDIF), has invested in StudentStay, a developer of two student accommodation buildings with a combined 752-bed capacity at the doorstep of the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST). This investment is expected to transform the student accommodation landscape in Windhoek and play a crucial role in fulfilling NIDIF’s mission to develop economic and social infrastructure assets in Namibia.
