SABBS Members:
I am supporting Johann Kruger as the next Chairman of our society and urge all members to offer him their wholehearted support.

Johann will act on behalf of ALL Boerboel owners and breeders all over the world, not just certain sectors that happen to agree with his own ideology.

Our breed has had enough division and disruption, favouritism and bias over the years and I feel that Johann has the ability and foresight to pull all the strings together better than anyone else at this point in time.

His understanding of the AIA and Legal complexities is really second to none and he has proven time and again that he is not afraid to stand up and speak out sensibly and logically in a calm and clear way, take the necessary actions and to explain these matters to the members.

Having said all that, my main reason for supporting Johann is his absolute commitment to heading up our society in an open and transparent manner. No more censorship or pre approved posts on social media, no more closed doors, more communication with members including full reporting of financial matters and board meetings. More information given to members, more consultation WITH members.

Johann firmly believes in a "Member driven SABBS" in a real and effective way, not just giving lip service to the slogan while removing more and more information and decision making ability from the membership.

He has proven that he is nobody's lap dog, he is his own man with clear objectives for our society, in my view, the right objectives, to take us through these turbulent times and into calmer waters.

While many are making this election of a new Chairman a "Black Boerboel election" I am making it a "For the members election" because I truly feel that this is a watershed for our breed, a make or break situation and this breed is bigger and better than a colour.
