PSG, Capricorn Group and Cycletec are very proud of the benchmark that we have set with the successful 2022 and 2023 Ride the Ridges events at Heja Lodge.

As sponsors, in collaboration with the event organiser, we remain committed to offering a unique approach to trail riding (not racing) over a three-day period with sweeping vistas and swooping descents whilst building on the event every year to ensure each remains an unforgettable experience for you and your families. The facilities at and around Heja Lodge enabled us to offer this top-class experience over the past two years. Since Heja Lodge has been sold we, the sponsors and organisers, considered various alternative venues to host the 2024 Ride the Ridges but none of these would offer us the opportunity to remain true to our commitment to uphold the high standards that we have set for ourselves for Ride the Ridges.

For this reason, the sponsors and the event organiser have mutually agreed to take a break in 2024 and explore alternative venues, that will allow for an elevated Ride the Ridges experience, for future Ride the Ridges events.

We thank you for your passionate participation in Ride the Ridges and hope to share exciting news and a 2025 save-the-date with you soon.

As Ride The Ridges 2023 concluded on a sunny Sunday afternoon, we could not be more pleased about what a wonderful success this year's event turned out to be.

We thank all of our sponsors, our organisers, our hosts, our volunteers and last but not least, all of our fantastic participants for making this year the best so far!

The Gondwana Care Trust is our official beneficiary! Thank you to all who contributed to this important cause. PSG and Capricorn Group will be handing over a cheque to Gondwana on Saturday. And 2 lucky riders will be going home with a Gondwana voucher to the value of N$10'000!!

We are posting this final update from the venue. The weather forecast looks incredible,big clouds forming to the east. Whether it rains or not, you riders are in for a mind-blowing weekend of great riding and good vibes. Day 3 is just enough riding to make you feel you earned your snack and drinks. First on the list is Friday's Sundowner Spot, but this time for really cool rider pics. We are keeping you high on the ridge line, which offers incredible views. From there, the route takes you to Rhinos, Giraffe and heaps of other wild game. The compulsory portage takes you to the weekend's high point, with sweeping 360 degree vistas. Then its some big descents back to the valley floor, before heading back to the finish for the final awards ceremony. Live music, an event snack box and complimentary drinks round off the perfect trail weekend.

Happy Independence Day! Feast your eyes on Day 2. For returning riders, some of it may look familiar, but with waist high grass everywhere its a riding wonderland. Flowing jeep track across 3 private farms takes you east to Klipdam, which serves as a double feeding oasis. From there, head north west to the next watertable at Otjihase mine before you stretch your legs for the finish line at Heja Game Lodge. Your rider card is loaded with free drinks and a braai buffet, so get stuck in. Live music by the dam, great views and chats with friends old and new end a perfect day.

Ridge riders, we proudly present Day 1. We've had to change things up a little from the original plan as the new single track disturbed some resident wildlife, which we couldn't justify. So, thinking caps and GPS were applied and we can say with confidence you are in a for a treat and a gentle-ish intro to the weekend.

Remember that Friday is an open gate start from 15h30 to 16h00. If you're a fast guy or gal, hang back till 16h00 and enjoy the beer and gin & tonic vibes at the Sundowner Spot with its spectacular view. If you are on the lesiure bus then roll out at 15h30. There will be a well stocked water table at 15 km next to a scenic dam, next stop from there is top of the hill and vistas for days, with cold drinks and snack platters. After that its an easy roll down the hill to claim your burger and ice cream, once you have handed your bike in for service.

Ladies and Gents, we present to you the Ride The Ridges Leather Cooler Bag. Pretty damn cool ( pun intended). Be the envy of your riding buddies when you arrive at the weekend braai sporting this bad boy. Fill it with your favourite beverage, a worsie and some tjops. Massive social status upgrade, because its only available to 200 riders. The shiny little event emblem is a bottle opener, we really thought of everything.
Now the nitty gritty:
You need to enter and pay pronto. We currently have more unpaid entries than the 200 rider cap. The first 200 riders to enter and PAY are taking one of these ( filled with lots of other event goodness) home. Its that simple. If you leave this too late, you will end up on the wait list, hoping that someone gets sick so you can get their slot. Its a gamble at best. Don't gamble....
