Great time indeed with tour Guide Gabriel & Mr Happy the last 10 days.

Olifantsrus has established a fantastic watering hole, offering the added excitement of night-time game viewing. With its wooden walkways and decks, visitors can enjoy a heightened perspective of the watering hole's activity. We strongly recommend extending your visit beyond a day trip and opting to stay overnight at Olifantsrus to fully immerse yourself in the experience.

World Tourism Day - 27 September 2023

Today we celebrate our travellers, all guest to Namibia 🇳🇦 Without our visitors to our beautifull country, we would not have this day or even Tourism!

We thank you for choosing us, we thank you, that we can provide jobs and food on tables for families in the Tourism Industry! Thank you!

Also shout out to all in Tourism for always going out of their way to make travellers feeling welcomed & loved!

"Staanrib braai" at Okaukuejo Camp, Etosha National Park for dinner, how lucky! 🥩🔥🇳🇦

"Staanrib" is the indirect way of cooking a whole mutton rib on a closed hinged grid next to a fire, leaning against a grid stand. This cooking method ensures a smokey result, with very crispy fatty edges (because the fat renders and rolls down as the meat is turned often. 🔥🥩

"Braai" - to grill or roast (meat) over open coals/fire (BBQ/barbecue)

Do note: Mabaruli African Safaris caters for all dietary requirements on all our tours - meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans, pescatarians ect - Our Guides & Camp Assistants will go out of their way, to cook you something special & unforgettable.

It's World Elephant Day today! - 12 August 2021

Mabaruli African Safaris is named after a remarkable elephant bull from the past, a great tusker that once roamed the Kruger National Park in South Africa - Mabarule. 🐘

Mabarule was rightly recognised as the gloriously tusked bull in northern Kruger’s Mooiplaas area.

His left tusk swooped right down, almost sweeping the ground, while his right one curved up, giving this bull an ironically unmistakable look - This can be seen in our LOGO as well!

Mabarule died in 2004, when he was found, tragic facts were revealed about the state of his health. Arthritis calcification in his vertebrae showed that he was undoubtedly in terrible pain towards the end of his life; however, his gentle, unruffled nature shone through until the end.

We dedicade today on World Elephant Day, to all elephant's like Mabarule, that roamed on earth and take a moment to appreciated these wonderfull animals still roaming this earth!!
