Worship is the giving of our entire self, our thoughts and our emotions, to God’s use. All of life is an act of submission, an act of worship.
Our service to God is not centered on a time or a temple, but is done whenever and wherever we are, because we are the temple of God.

The emphasis is taken away from ceremony, seasons and places, and is shifted to what is happening in the inner person.
Worship should invade our entire lives. The test of worship is not only what happens at church, but what happens at home, on the job and wherever we go.

God seeks people who will worship him. Worship is something he wants. He knows it is good for us to worship him.
In speaking of "Spirit and Truth," Jesus is echoing the prophets: worship must be sincere. External things don’t matter if the heart isn’t right. It doesn’t do us any good to worship at the right place or with the right rituals if our attitude isn’t right. We can sing the right songs and hold our hands in the right way, but if our heart isn’t in it, it isn’t really worship.

The mainspring of the being of God is love.
It’s all very easy to think of God as looking at mankind in our thoughtlessness and our disobedience and our rebellion and then say:
• I will break them!!
• I will humble them and whip them!!
• I will discipline them and punish them!!
• I will scourge them until they come back to me!!

It is also very easy to think of God as seeking the allegiance and fidelity of mankind in order to satisfy His own desire for power, and His own desire for what we might call a completely subject universe.

BUT "for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3vs16)"

The tremendous thing about this text is that it shows us God acting, not for His own sake, but for our sake.
It was not to satisfy His desire for power that God acted.

And it was not to bring the universe into submission.
Rather and more importantly it was to satisfy His love.

God is not like an absolute monarch who treats each person as a subject to be reduced to an abject obedience.

God is the Father who cannot be happy until His wandering children have come home.

God does not smash us into submission rather He yearns over us and woos us into His loving relationship.

He is a Daddy that pampers!
A Daddy that blesses!!
A Daddy that loves!!!

THE SCRIPTURES HELP ESPECIALLY DURING BAD TIMES OF OUR LIFE

Will they come? Yes! But what is coming?

I mean challenges, they will come.. you know why? I will tell you why;

• They will come to shake your feet so you can fall..
• They will come to make you feel inferior in your walk with God.
• They will come in a way to make you feel sad, thereby leaving you depressed, devastated, visionless and confused.

Dearest, they will come..one funny thing about challenges is that you can't run away from it especially when you're living this life of yours for CHRIST.

These challenges will come through;
1. Friends 2. Loved ones 3. Church members 4. Relatives Most times people you never expected it from

Dearest, you need to grab God's word whenever it comes.. when the challenges comes..

Psalm 30:11 reads
"Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness."

This too;
Psalm 31:3
"For thou art my rock and fortress, therefore for thy name's sake lead me and guide me."

And then;
Psalm 31:4.
"Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength"

When they come (the challenges) read these words over and over then you will be made whole cos God's word makes people whole; not just people but believers who have faith in the word!

You don't just read it without FAITH. You read with believe that it is done already 🤗
