I saw vacancy for the post of a personal driver online and I decided to check it out. I texted them and I was sent an address. I was asked to show up at the address as soon as possible and I went there the next day. When I got there, .....

it was a big house and I was let in. I met a man (in his 50s) and he said I should come and be his mum's personal driver.
He said three people had done the job in the past and I was the fourth person, the pay was N25k per trip.

I would be driving his mum to the hospital twice a week. That is 50k per week o. Is she sick or what? He said yes. So that's all? Hope there's not something you're not telling me? He said if there's anything else I have to know, I will find out during the job. I quickly accepted.

I asked to meet his mum, at least let me see the person I want to be driving. She came out,
I greeted her, and she didn't respond, she didn't look sick either then she went back inside. He said "mama doesn't really talk". Well maybe she doesn't like me but what is my own.

If you like hate me, that is your business, my own is to collect my money. The first day of the job, I put on suit and tie and got there 30 minutes earlier, let me self look like responsie person 😂. When it was time to leave, he asked his younger brother to follow us

to get her treatment, she would start biting everybody. Okay so my own skin is biteproof Abi. She was bringing her mouth close to my second ear again, I quickly parked the car by the road side and removed seat belt. I was about to open the door and fly out, then the boy asked me,

where are you going? I'm going home na, which kind of stupid question is that one? You want your mumsy to kill me? He said I won't receive any payment, I said no problem. Keep you money. "Na who dey alive dey spend money". As I was about to drop, he locked my shirt from the back.

He said "you can't leave only me with her o," Ha which kind of problem is this? 😭 I asked him "can't you drive"? He said he can drive. Then drive your mumsy Now. Is she not your mother? He said yes. He asked me "who will be watching her when I am driving"?

How is that my business bros? 😭 Leave my cloth now I said I'm not doing again. As God wanted to help me, the woman bit the guy in his bu**um. He screamed, and that was when he left me. Which kind of woman is this? She doesn't bite in the hand or leg, it is where

there is plenty meat in your body that she will bite 😭. I quickly jumped out of the car and ran for my life. When I looked back, I saw the guy running towards me. I thought he was coming to tell me to go back and I was ready to fight him because nothing can make me enter that car again.

As he got to me, I saw that he was also running for his life 😂😂😭.
I used the remaining N200 with me to take Keke to my house. The next day, the man called my phone and told me he didn't like how I left his mum in the middle of the road but he has forgiven me..

and I should come back. He said his mum likes me.

In the early 1900s, a Bengal tiger, famously known as the ‘man-eater of Champawat’, began preying on humans due to the loss of her canine teeth, making it difficult to consume her typical prey.

She began targeting the local villagers, who were primarily poor and lived in isolated communities in the Champawat region of India.

The villagers had no means to defend themselves, which meant they were easy prey.

The Tiger is believed to have killed around 436 people, making it one of the most prolific man-eaters in recorded history.

Because of the sheer number of deaths, the British government, which then controlled India, eventually were forced to send Jim Corbett, a hunter and naturalist, to track down and kill the beast.

Corbett eventually succeeded in killing the Tiger on April 29, 1907, using a .450 calibre rifle.

The Tiger's skin and skull were later mounted and are now on display in the Corbett Museum in India.

A man got a moderately paying job after NYSC and was leading a decent life.

At the end of every month, he would visit his family.

His father was a retired railway worker and his mother was a petty trader.

Typical of an average African familial setting.

The son was astounded and burst into tears.

The father was surprised and asked why the sudden tears?

"Why are you crying? Do you need the remaining #5,000? If you don't have much to sustain yourself, you can have it as well. I will manage myself. Please, stop crying son."

He remained speechless and awestruck.

He implored his father to tell him about who used to pay his school fees between him and his mother when he (the father) was in active service?

He said, "Yes, it was me, of course. I used to send your school fees to your mom via the Post Office when I was in Railway Station in Kano."

The son persisted that he needed convincing evidence and his father went inside, opened his portfolio and brought out many old tellers/receipts.

He added that his mother used to receive the money via the Post Office.

There was no electronic money transfer then.

The son couldn't believe what he heard and saw.

He was mouth-agape and stared in utter disbelief.

He kept on crying and apologising to his father because his mendacious mother had lied to them that their father was a completely useless and irresponsible man.

That's the mindset they had towards their dad while growing up.

That's why the household had been treating him like a pariah.

The man left the house a very sad man.

A man with a raging inferno against his mother and guilty conscience toward his dad.

Since then, he started treating him like a king as many truths about his being a good father and husband unfolded.

He changed his attitude toward his mother but did not maltreat her.

God answered his prayers and work took him out of the country.

He came back home and got married.

He took his wife there and they had a baby.

He came to Nigeria and gave his family the good news. He wanted his father to join him and not his mother.

But the father refused and entreated him to forgive and take his mother instead.

The man insisted that if his dad did not follow him, he would not take any one of them and would live his life as if he didn't have any parent again.

He finally took his dad and after continuous persuasion from him, he forgave his mom and came back to pick her up 3 years later.

All of the family are now living in Georgia.

Dear women, if your husbands are innocent, don't paint them bad to your children, no matter how long the lie travels, the truth will find its way one day.

We were drilling borehole in our compound, so my dad, mum and the plumber were having a conversation on how to distribute the water once the engineers finish drilling.

And the following conversation ensued:

Plumber: Sir, once they finish drilling the borehole, we will need to place an over head tank to store water, before it can be distributed to various channels in the house.

Dad: What size of tank are we talking about here?

Plumber: I think this one will do. (shows him a photo in his phone)

Mom: Is that one good enough?

Dad: No na, this tank is too small na, I don't think it can serve us well.

Plumber: We should get a bigger one then.

Dad: Yes, we should get a bigger one, as big as my wife's stomach.
