Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

You can't be ashamed of the Good News and still expect the Good Deeds.

Good Deeds happens when you're not ashamed of preaching the Good News.

If you're shy and ashamed of preaching the Gospel of Christ then you can't see Power of God in action.

The Apostles prayed in Acts 4:29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word...

This is telling us about Apostles boldness and confidence in Christ, they were not ashamed nor weary, they kept on pressing without looking at their threatening, they knew that, It takes a man with a Lion's heart to take the Lion's share.

What is beauty without power, what is fine boy without fire. We need Fire Boys that are not ashamed of the Gospel in our days not Fine Boys. We need Fire Girls that are not ashamed of the Gospel in our days not Fine Girls.

Fine Boy can love Jesus and still keep his Bible under his clothe when he sees a masquerade. Fine Girl can love Jesus and still keep her Bible under her skirt when she encounter a shaking.

Sir, the kingdom of God is not in words but in Power. Gospel is the Power of God to everyone that believeth. Seeing is believing, if you don't believe it you can't receive it, if you don't believe it, you can't see it and have it.

Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide spoke at 1st Service, Faith Tabernacle. Church Gist posted his sermon as it was the Covenant Day of Business and Career Breakthrough. He said that there is no lineage of success. Everybody works his way to succeed.

He said that if you don’t understand Success Secrets, understand Success Strategies. If you don’t understand Success Strategies, understand Success Systems. "I think I should write Success Codes," he said. He said that no plane tows another in the air. To go up, you have to generate the relevant ground power to take off in the air.

Speaking further, he said that Abraham gave Isaac all that he had, but he never succeeded in it. He had to dig the ground, he had to plant the seed. He dug, they filled it and he said, “no way, I am going to get through.” His breakthrough was not on his inheritance. He dug and dug until he became the envy of the Philistines. "You can’t succeed on somebody’s else inheritance. You can’t win a race running with another man’s legs. You better get up," he said.

He said that he told his father when he was told that, “when you die, whatever belongs to me, give it to the others.” According to him, he had an understanding of it. It is not guesswork. He was 25 years old when I said that and he had no single plot of land in the world. "Can’t we close now, that is the summary of this subject? I have given you the summary before we started the lecture," he concluded.

Finally, you have to make your way prosperous and command good success by your choice to take responsibility (Joshua 1:8). He advised that you pray for yourself any prayer you want to pray, so he can do the teaching that he has to do. Abraham became successful after 75. He took responsibility and went through it. David became a hero at 17. "Anybody has his place if he chooses to. Everybody has his place if he chooses to," he said.

There is possibility of life getting tough with everybody, but it's a phase.

Please Note, you can choose to hold a low-key wedding by choice. And you can hold a low-key wedding by the size of your pocket, but not because of false prophecy.

The simple question you should ask yourself or maybe your so called prophet is, do witches and wizards need to come close to you before they can attack you?.

Do they not operate from the spirit realm.
In the realms of the spirit, distance is not a barrier, and neither is closeness an advantage.

As a young lady, is there any younger lady who is saying concerning you, “I want to be like that sister? I like her fire and passion.”

I remember when I was in the University, there was a young man who repented and gave his life to Jesus Christ.
Wherever I stood to pray in the medical student’s fellowship gathering, he would stand beside me to pray.
One day, I asked him, “What are you doing?”
“I am just observing you. I want to pray like you are praying,” he answered.
Today, that young man is a pastor and he is doing very well.

I remember in those days in the university, people would just come to our room. When I asked, “what did you come for?” They would say, “I just came to catch the atmosphere.” This was because the atmosphere of the place was a prayer atmosphere; the atmosphere of God’s Presence.

“The day we got married, my husband didn’t have a car, we only had a motorcycle. Yamaha, Yamaha 200, that was what we had. The day we got married, we borrowed our car. Our car took us to church and brought us back to the reception.

Before the reception was over, the owner of the car told my husband that he had a place to go, so, he took the car. Then, we did our reception in the frontage of one of the in-law’s house.

“The in-law was coming back from Lagos and “he told his wife”, listen, I don’t want to meet any crowd at the front of my house. So, we hurried things over and when it was time for us to go home, there was no car. I had to tiptoe, my husband had to carry my veil and we had about 8 houses before we got to our house.
My husband carried my veil, we both walked or trekked to the house,” she narrated.

Papa Oyedepo is the most successful and respectful leader I have ever seen.

It is a pity that most of us who submit to him or love him, don't understand this aspect of his life.

Never allow results make you disrespect your seniors in age.

Only a few men can have results in life, and don't lose everyone that is supposed to be their seniors in age.

The top is very lonely, But it is more lonely for a successful man without respect for his seniors and colleagues.

That is the Man with the highest Sunday morning attendance in Africa, giving a handshake with his two hands.

That is the richest Pastor in Nigeria, if not in the world, giving a handshake with his two hands.

No matter your results, always respect those older than you.

The good thing about age is that results can't buy age.

To take away age from results, A pastor with heavy results can die very early, leaving the result behind.

We have seen it happen again and again.

Papa Mike Okonkwo will be 78 years old next Month and Papa David Oyedepo will be 69 next month. Difference of about 9 years. Yet we see how young boys in ministry disrespect men old enough to give birth to them. A man old enough to give birth to you is not just your senior, he is like a biological father to you.

Anywhere you see results without the person having respect for seniors, God is not in the results. And such a person doesn't always finish well.

May God give us Grace to respect and honor the age we desire to cross in life.
