Back in 2017, Moolu Venture Lab embarked on a journey of discovery and growth, propelled by participation in the first AI accelerator program in Europe with Rockstart in Amsterdam. Rune's belief in the potential of Moolu Venture Lab provided the foundation for a remarkable journey. During the program, fueled by curiosity and passion for Afrocentric projects, Moolu engaged deeply with Google Amsterdam and IBM Watson deep tech engineers. Together, they tackled challenges in language synthesis and machine learning, pioneering solutions tailored to African contexts.

Fast forward to the recent Intel Africa Deep Tech and AI Stakeholders Meeting, organized by Afrilabs, where the significance of Moolu Venture Lab's journey became evident. This meeting was instrumental in shaping policies, frameworks, and operational implementations of AI in the innovation space in Africa. By fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic partnerships, the event laid the groundwork for a vibrant AI ecosystem poised to drive socio-economic progress and technological advancement across the continent.
