Happy new month dear friends! Another month to remind you of your ability to conquer and make positive impact either in your marriage, work place and your day to day affiliation with other people. Let your goal always be your brothers welfare. This is also a time to remember to wake up to your weaknesses and challenge them, your difficulties are seen by God but you must make a positive move because God will not do for you what he has given you the power to do.

Cockroach Theory

The cockroach theory for self-development

At a restaurant, a cockroach suddenly flew from somewhere and sat on a lady.

She started screaming out of fear.

With a panic-stricken face and trembling voice, she started jumping, with both her hands desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach.

Her reaction was contagious, as everyone in her group also got panicky.

The lady finally managed to push the cockroach away but ...it landed on another lady in the group.

Now, it was the turn of the other lady in the group to continue the drama.

The waiter rushed forward to their rescue.

In the relay of throwing, the cockroach next fell upon the waiter.

The waiter stood firm, composed himself and observed the behaviour of the cockroach on his shirt.

When he was confident enough, he grabbed it with his fingers and threw it out of the restaurant.

Sipping my coffee and watching the amusement, the antenna of my mind picked up a few thoughts and started wondering, was the cockroach responsible for their histrionic behaviour?

If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed?

He handled it near to perfection, without any chaos.

It is not the cockroach, but the inability of those people to handle the disturbance caused by the cockroach, that disturbed the ladies.

I realized that it is not the shouting of my father or my boss or my wife that disturbs me, but it's my inability to handle the disturbances caused by their shouting that disturbs me.

It's not the traffic jams on the road that disturbs me, but my inability to handle the disturbance caused by the traffic jam that disturbs me.

More than the problem, it's my reaction to the problem that creates chaos in my life.

Lessons learnt from the story:

I understood I should not react in life.

I should always respond.

The women reacted, whereas the waiter responded.

Reactions are always instinctive whereas responses are always well thought of.

A beautiful way to understand LIFE.

I know it hurts.

It’s a very strange feeling how someone can be in your life for months or even years and then one day ... all of a sudden not be there anymore.

Maybe the relationship ended on good terms.... or maybe it was completely catastrophic.

Either way .... it’s so bizarre how relationships can change so vast and rapidly.

And you know what .... you may not be at peace with what happened between the two of you ... and thats perfectly fine.

Sometimes the end of a relationship can literally be one of the hardest things we go through in life.

I want you to know it’s okay that your heart still hurts because of what happened.

You have made alot of memories with this person.

And these memories that you have made is something you can’t erase no matter how hard you try.

Whether you like it or not, they are a part of your story.

I know looking on these memories can be hard, and you may wish you could forget them.

But instead of forgetting, maybe we should try to focus on what came from the relationship.

You two joined paths for a particular reason.

Maybe you walked through some of the hardest times together.

Maybe you understood each other in a way no one else ever did.

Maybe you encouraged one another to be strong or to embrace who you genuinely were as a person.

Or maybe your relationship with them opened your eyes to what you truly needed in your life.

Regardless of what the reasoning was, it’s okay to acknowledge that .... that person meant a lot to you.

And it's okay if they still do.
It’s also okay that they aren’t in your life anymore.

What alot of people dont understand is, not every relationship we encounter will last a lifetime.

You shouldn't be lingering in the past questioning why everything happened the way it did.

What you need to do .... is to take what you've learned from that relationship and move forward in your life.
But it actually hurts to say goodbye

Don't follow the popular saying, “ school na scam” please go to school and become a better carpenter

The greatest knowledge anyone can acquire is the knowledge of the self and the knowledge of the limitations of your knowledge

Live in the moment but build a future where you can take solace.

What do you say I am? This is the question you should ask always because an enemy comes from within same as friend

No life is best lived in isolation, for anyone who does that might end up becoming a beast or a monster 💩

You saw a totally weak car that can not carry you to where you are heading, you boarded it and started praying for journey mercies! What happened to the commons sense?

Why are we bent on making wrong decisions and praying for a good result?

An offer of 6 million for you not to take bath in one week will you accept such cheap offer ? 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Remember not to stay idle for God only blesses the works of your hands and not perform magic

Work and keep trusting the process, so long as it is legit it will definitely click

Sharing different political ideologies is not a problem but can we rationalize and appeal to our common sense and know the right thing to do? Do not oppose or support a politician totally, this is because of the dynamic nature of man! It is inherent in us

We on the other hand are deceived by religion and ethnicity

They use our secret books(bible and Quran) to lie and never to fulfill the promises

After being manipulated we still can't hold them accountable. What a country!

The least you hear from a Nigerian who didn't go to school is “school na scam” forgetting that education open ones eyes to reality

The annoying thing is that we the people are manipulated and used as they want.

What is the importance of appointing Ministers as many as 47 in a country where people are dieing of hunger?
