Muslim Maigari is a seasoned legal practitioner with specialized knowledge of Public Policy & Administration, Energy & Environmental Law. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2011, having been certified by the Council for Legal Education to practice as a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He has served in several high-powered policy and Governance committees in the public & private sector. He is a member of several professional associations notable amongst which are the Nigeria Bar Association and Abuja Chamber of Commerce. He is the legal Adviser of Al-Muhibbah Foundation, also doubling as Registrar of Al-Muhibbah Open University. He has attended several national & international conferences within and outside Nigeria. He is married and blessed with children.

Associate Professor Ahmed Garba, is a seasoned legal practitioner with over 17 years of experience, dating back to 2005. He has consistently demonstrated a passion for educating people throughout his academic journey.
He has a wealth of experience in legal research especially in the area of law and religion studies. His distinguished career at Bauchi State University was marked by rapid progression through various leadership positions. He began as a Lecturer II, rose to Head of Department, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of law and subsequently became the Dean of the Faculty of Law. His exceptional leadership skills, dedication and academic excellence later earned him the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), a role he held for four years. In addition to these appointments, he has had the privilege of chairing various senate committees, further demonstrating his expertise and commitment to academic governance.

I, Associate Professor Ahmed Salisu Garba, acting as Vice Chancellor of Al-Muhibbah Open University in Abuja, hereby issue a public disclaimer today 11th May, 2024 regarding Dr. Mrs. Grace A.A., Dr. ANITA, and any other individuals or groups, both within and outside of Nigeria, who are falsely representing themselves as officers of Al-Muhibbah Open University or claiming any form of affiliation with our university.
It has come to our attention that these persons, who operate in various sections of Abuja, are advertising non-existent admissions into the university's degree programs, as well as other academic offerings such as pre-degree and postgraduate programs that do not exist at our institution. These fraudulent activities include soliciting payments from potential students in order to gain admission to our programs.
Al-Muhibbah Open University, which received official licensing from the National Universities Commission (NUC) in June 2023, has not sanctioned, engaged, or affiliated with these individuals or any other group for the purpose of representation in any capacity.
We have reported these unauthorized and fraudulent actions to the appropriate security agencies for a thorough investigation, with the aim of identifying and prosecuting those responsible. We have also requested our legal team to initiate legal action against these individuals to seek redress and recover substantial damages for their unauthorized activities.
This disclaimer serves as a warning to the public and does not in any way prevent individuals from establishing a valid and formal partnership with Al-Muhibbah Open University for legitimate transactions.
