What is Grace

1. Grace is supernatural Enablement. ‭

1 Corinthians 15:10 KJV‬
[10] But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

2. Grace is another word for Favour. And Favour is unmerited Goodness. Undeserving Blessings.

‭Genesis 6:7-8 KJV‬
[7] And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. [8] But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

3. Grace is God in a Race. It actually means the help of God.

‭Exodus 33:12-14 KJV‬
[12] And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight. [13] Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people. [14] And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

What are the Wonders of Grace?

1. We are Predestined and Adopted by Grace. Ephesians 1:4-5

2. We are We are Accepted. Ephesians 1:6

3. Justified by Grace through Faith. Titus 3:7, Ephesians 1:7, Romans 3:24, Ephesians 2:8

4. We are called by Grace. Galatians 1:13-15.

5. We reign by Grace with Jesus. Ephesians 2:4-6

6. We are given to Good Works through Grace. Ephesians 2:8-10.

7. We do signs and Wonders by Faith through Grace the Grace of God. Acts 14:3.

8. The Word of Grace is a builder. It builds us up. Acts 29:32.

9. We can do all things by Grace. ‭

Philippians 4:12-13 KJV‬
[12] I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. [13] I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

10. Grace helps you to know all things. ‭

1 John 2:20-21 KJV‬
[20] But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. [21] I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

How does Grace come?

The knowledge of Jesus. 2 Peter 1:2, John 1:14-17

How do you know Jesus?

1. Acknowledged the Need for God's Grace.

[9] And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. [10] Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

2. Study Jesus. ‭

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV‬
[15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

‭Ephesians 4:17-24 KJV‬
[17] This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, [18] having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: [19] who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 3. Fellowship with Jesus.

[10] that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; [11] if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. [12] Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

4. Practice Jesus.

‭2 Timothy 2:11-13 KJV‬
[11] It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: [12] if we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: [13] if we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

5. Take delight in the things of Jesus. Be a mover for Jesus.

We learn at the feet of Jesus tonight as God's own lady Gift Ogbaji takes us on a Grace Journey.

THE GRACE OF GOD
What you need to know about the Reckless Love of God.
Luke 15:10-32.

1. There is a portion of Goods that Belongs to you with the Father. Your recklessness not withstanding, you cant exhaust it. Luke 15:11

2. Any Journey far from God is a riotous Journey that is tantamount to self distruction. Any Journey into God is a journey into Good. Luke 15:12

3. Without the Father, famine is inevitable. Without Jesus Crisis is constant. With Jesus Crisis is a variable. Luke 15:13

4. No body can ever love you like Jesus will. You will be used by everyone and dumped. Outside God, you will never know what you like for yourself. It's a journey in cycles. Luke 15:15

The person who should help him sent him to the swine.

5. Life is reduced to a burden without genuine brotherhood. Luke 15:16

6. Until you come to yourself. Your fellowship with unfruitful works of Darkness will know no bound. Luke 15:17-19

‭Romans 12:2 KJV‬
[2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Until your mind is renewed you can't be transformed.

7. Until you arise, Grace is reduced to Grass. Until you arise, you will never know the extent of God's love for you. Luke 15:20.

You are guilty as charged, until you arise. You are condemned by yourself and people around you, until you arise..

8. The Father saw him. Riotous as he was, the father saw him. Self acclaimed servant as he was, the father saw him. Sinner as his brother said, the father saw him. Luke 15:20-21

What if I say to you that the father sees you? Will that make any difference in your life?

Yes! Apostle, you mean God is aware that someone like me exist? Yes. Apostle I have done so many bad things ooo. The Father sees you. I am going through pains ooo, the father sees you.

9. There is a party. Only those who journey into God can dare to come into it. ‭Luke 15:22-24.

[22] But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

10. Our dealings with God is not the same. I know you are a saint, and you see me as a sinner, let me be. If you have a case with me because you feel what I have from God I am not deserving of it. Take that case up with God. Luke 15:25-28

I am that one sinner that have brought Joy to heaven. Because I am back. You are the 99 the father left to find me. Hallelujah

[10] Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

‭Luke 15:7 KJV‬
[7] I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

11. Our portion with God can not be dragged or ruined by an act of any one's recklessness. You can't be ever with God and not have everything God has. There is a blessing in consistency. Luke 15:29-31.

12. Rejoice with Heaven over the return of your Brethren. Luke 15:32

Lessons

1. Never journey away from God. Because a Journey way from God is a journey away from Good.

2. No matter how far you go with the World, you can journey back to the Word.

3. You are reduced to a burden outside the Brotherhood.

4. Every thing change for Good when you change your mind from Bad.

5. God sees you.

Prayer: Lord may I not be far from you. Help me to journey into you consistently in Jesus Name.

Lord, may you become my source and resource forever. May I not be ever sufficient in myself in Jesus Name.

Lord, may your Grace continue to speak for me in my greatest moments of vulnerability in Jesus Name.

Lord, help me to know that all of you is mine and all of me is thine in Jesus Name.

📌Jonathan is a more than a Brother kind of Friend. ‭Proverbs 18:24 KJV‬

📌Jonathan is a sign of Emmanuel (God with us). ‭

Will you let JESUS be your JONATHAN?

Jonathan-David relationship is a representative symbol of the kind of relationship we should have with Jesus.

JESUS calls us into friendship with him.

[15] Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. [16] Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

This friendship takes two dimensions.

[20] I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

📌 Oneness with Jesus.

It is Jesus in you and you in Jesus that makes you a friend of Jesus. The Bible said the soul of Jonathan knit (cleaved) to the soul of David. What a friendship.

‭1 Samuel 18:1 KJV‬
[1] And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.

God expects us to have that kind of disposition towards Jesus.

📌 Faith in Jesus as the Son of God.

Faith in God made Abraham a friend of God. Romans 4:19-20. Abraham was a faith man little wonder he was a friend of God.

Prayer: Lord I believe in my heart and I confess with my mouth that I am one with you.

Lord I believe. Help my unbelieve in Jesus Name.

And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake? 2 Samuel 9:1 KJV‬

Believe and Confess what Jesus has done. Not what you have done or what you are doing or you are about to do. It is not about you anymore. It is about Jesus. He paid and brought you in as share holder.

We give all the glory to God in the highest for March and we celebrate him for the Gift of His son.

But, what is the Lord saying this month?

It is time to experience the infallible Proofs of Jesus Christ in our lives.

Nehemiah's Trade Secrets. Part 4

1. At the Root of Lasting Change and Progress is The Word of God. ‭‭Nehemiah 8:1 MSG‬‬


Nehemiah knew that Disobedience to the Word of God was the reason for the breakdown of the Wall. Now that the Wall is built, obedience is needed to keep it standing.

Nehemiah drew the people's attention back to the Word of God.

I realized that after the Word was read, the people became sober and remorseful knowing that they were wrong all the whole. ‭‭Nehemiah 8:9 MSG‬‬

One of the things the word of God will do for you is REBUKE. ‭‭2 Timothy 3:16 KJV‬‬

It’s not every time the word of God will excite you. Sometimes studying the word of God will bring you into sober reflections. That reflection is necessary for corrections.

It took the intervention of Ezra and Nehemiah for the children of Israel to be merry that day when they heard the Word of God.

2. When you realize your mistakes, make deliberate steps to change your ways, don't just cry or weep.

What Nehemiah was invariably telling them by asking them to go and make merry is that, it is not enough to cry and weep, take correction, make adjustments and be glad. ‭‭Nehemiah 8:10-12 KJV‬‬

3. Instant obedience to the Word is powerful. ‭‭Nehemiah 8:13-15 KJV‬‬

If you are going to have a glorious life, be instant in your obedience to the word of God. ‭‭1 Samuel 15:22 KJV‬‬

True and genuine repentance is seen in the actions that follows after weeping and sorrowing. ‭‭Nehemiah 8:17 KJV‬‬

4. Nehemiah didn't misplace priority per time. He knew how to Maximize every element around. For instance, he knew when to gather people for work. He knew when warriors or fighters were needed. He also knew when the men of God were needed. ‭‭Nehemiah 10:28-29 KJV‬‬

5. Allow people to do things willingly not by force. ‭‭Nehemiah 11:1-2 KJV‬‬

Even in your business or career, give room for volunteers. Not everything is money. Some times is making the call and being receptive enough to accommodate other people.
