The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has announced the starting date of the May/June 2024 Examination. The body has announced that the exam will commence on Monday 6 May, 2024 and will end on Friday 21 June, 2024.

🔵 1st Batch, Will Commence By 6:30 am

🟢 2nd Batch, Will Commence By 9:00 am

🔴 3rd Batch, Will Commence By 12:00 pm

🟠4th Batch, Will Commence By 3:00 pm

EXAM is stipulated for 2 hours

Treat the exam like your main exam because if you fail mock what are the chances of passing the main exams when mock is just correlation of past questions

*WAEC NIGERIA TO CONDUCT COMPUTER BASED WASSCE FOR PRIVATE CANDIDATES*

In line with global best practices, the Nigeria National Office of the *West African Examinations Council (WAEC)* wishes to inform the general public, and all its stakeholders, that it has concluded plans to migrate its *WASSCE* for Private Candidates Examination Diets from Paper and Pencil Test to *Computer Based Examination (CBE).*

The innovation will commence with *WASSCE* for *Private Candidates, 2024 -First Series,* which isslated to hold in February 2024. While the Objective Tests will be fully Computer Based, the Essay and Test of Practical papers will be hybrid, in which the examination questions will be delivered on screen and candidates required to write answers on the answer booklets given to them.

Furthermore, the examination will be conducted in urban centres/cities and candidates with special needs have been factored into the plan. Registration for the examination will commence on Monday, December 18, 2023.
In order to enable candidates to familiarise themselves with the new examination platform,arrangements have been concluded for a Mock Examination to be conducted in February 2024, before the examination commences.

To this end,the Council implores all prospective candidates to hone their computer skills and be fully prepared to embrace this innovation.
As Africa's foremost examining body, providing qualitative and reliable educational assessment,encouraging academic and moral excellence, it is the vision of the Council that in the near future, allits examinations will be delivered via the computer.

Prospective candidates who wish to register for the 2023 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External are hereby informed that registration for the examination has commenced. The registration is both offline and online.

Prospective candidates should visit the Council's website http://www.neco.gov.ng. SSCE External link and register at any time within the stipulated registration period. Candidates can create account, purchase registration quota and then proceed to any reputable Cybercafé for biometric and completion of registration

• Passport size photograph is required for the registration. The candidate's passport size photograph should NOT be more than SIX MONTHS old and must have white background System Camera can also be used to snap the passport size photograph at the point of registration as the case may be.

• BIOMETRIC FINGERPRINTS WILL BE CAPTURED DURING THE OFFLINE REGISTRATION OF EACH CANDIDATE.

i. The Registration fee, once paid, is non-refundable.

iv. Candidates or cybercafé operators should carefully follow the SSCE External link on http://www.neco.gov.ng for instructions on the registration procedure before embarking on the registration exercise.
