Ekiti State's domestic debt witnessed a significant 48% reduction from ₦110.57 billion in the fourth quarter of 2023 (Q4 2023) to ₦57.90 billion in the first quarter of 2024 (Q1 2024), successfully cutting the debt burden by ₦52.67 billion. Ekiti State scored 92/100 and ranked 2nd in the BudgIT State Fiscal Transparency League Q1 2024.
