"Mum I have a night study group "

"The one you usually go for at the girls club? "

" Yes mum"

" When?"

" Today"

"I thought it's usually weekend, why today"

" It's Senior year and we have to get higher grades for college"

" Okay? In guessing you'll be back by?"

" I'll go to school from there"

" Alright,take ten dollars from my purse"

" Thank you mum" I said happily as I went to get purse and collected the money as I went to my room and packed up

I left by half past 8 ,met pixie at her house
It wasn't really far as she described.
Her house looked really enormous.I could tell she had rich parents but I didn't seem to find anyone at home when she came out to take me in

"Your house looks beautiful" I remarked

" Thanks
Now change"

" Oh yeah" I said as I brought out the dress and put it on

" What the hell are you wearing?" Pixie said surprisingly disappointed

" What? You don't like it,. This is the hottest dress I have"

" Gosh! I should have known" she said as she went to her wardrobe and brought out a gown

"Woooow" I remarked

"Yeah put it on"

"Wouldn't it be too tight and short?"

" Jordan put that on ,except you don't what to go with me"

" Okay okay" I said as I wore the gown
It was quite too exposed at the back,even at the front,in short,it was all exposing.
Quite a price to pay.

"Let's go" pixie said as went outside the building and pixie entered a car
"Won't you come in?"

"Wow is it yours?"

"Yes ,hurry up let's go"

I was really amazed.
Wanted to ask about her parents but reserved my words for some other times.
Indeed she was the friend I always longed for

We got into the party with our passes.Damn it was quite a party

"Wow this is huge" I said

" I know right
Make sure you stick with me"

"Alright" i said shouting at the music was really loud

I followed pixie all around as she introduced me to so many persons.i couldn't even remember half of them afterwards.

"Here" she said handing over a shot to me

"I, I...." I stammered

"Woah Sniper where did you get this girl from?"
One of her friends said as she gave me a Stern look

I immediately took the shot and the guys around cheered

"Please don't embarrass me" pixie said

"I'm sorry" I apologised

We had lots of drinks but I took little only when I was been stared at by pixie

We danced and danced and soon a guy came from behind to dance with me but I drove him off.

Pixie danced with so many guys
Soon a guy came, probably the guy who owns the party
Alot of talkings where done,I only understood few slangs used.

The guy came up to pixie and kissed her as they danced
This one was really erotic .
He touched her ,bit her , kissed her.
Soon they stopped, he left and pixie asked me to come with her

I couldn't say anything
We climbed the stairs and pixie asked me to seat on the sofa while she went to the inner room.

I sat there for some time.i could hear some sounds but on a low tone.
Soon the sounds increased.They weren't just normal sounds,I could hear pixie morning hard.
What the hell? I said within

The sounds came from both her and a guy and soon I became wet

The next day at school, that morning just before classes Jennel and her friends blocked me . My heart tripped.
" Seems you've got a new friend huh" jennel said

"Little puppet" Neile scoffed

"Where is she now huh,no one's gonna save you now" jennel said

"Don't you guys have better things to do?" Pixie said from behind

"You" Evelyn said angrily

" Good morning girls,JoJo let's get to class" pixie said as i followed her

Trust me I had tones of relief when she showed up,

"Thanks pixie"

"You're welcome but you should learn to stand up for yourself"

"but how? I'm not like you guys" I asked

" You are you,just update you okay"

"I don't understand" I said confused

"Don't worry,after classes umh?"

"Okay " I replied anxiously

At lunch we went to get some snacks and sat together, trust me all eyes where on us, me especially.

"Yeah so about what I was telling you earlier" pixie said

"Yes I'm curious" I replied

" Do you have a boyfriend? " Pixie asked

"No, do you?" I asked in turn

"Alot" she said

" Alot? You double date" I asked almost shouting

"Hush, all girls do it.
It's fun"

"Hmmmmm"

"Huh don't give me that look, we should be focused on you right now"

" How do you mean? "

" You don't have a boyfriend, not even one. I mean isn't that just off
Wait are you a virgin??"

" Well..... yeah,sort of"

"Hmmmmm"

" I do have a crush"

" Oh wow, who? Does he attend this school? "

" No, no he's a past student though. The preceding senior year student"

" Oh wow, sooo what's up with you two? "

" Huh nothing

" Then why are blushing this severe? " Pixie said smiling and raising her brows

" Stopppp" I replied blushing even more

"No for real, what's the deal?"

"Well he come occasionally to see me, I think he like me but I don't know why he's delaying"

" You're probably giving him attitude"

"Attitude? Nahhh I even feel I'm to free with him "

" Okay I'll help you"

" Whenever he comes again, I'll love to meet him"

But we haven't really talked about the standing up for myself though

"Let's meet up by 9,got an invite to a night party"

🎯Chapter five🎯

At lunch I went to my usual spot to sit but I found the new girl already there

"Oh no!" I said as I quickly made a 360° turn
I was sure she saw me but I took no chances.

Later on I saw Jennel and her friends speaking with the new girl.
She didn't look much interested in them but she gave them her ears.

I kept avoiding the new girl for about ,ermm maybe 48 hours I guess

It was time for some sporting activities and everyone had left class to the venues either as a performer or a spectator.
I on the other hand left decided to remain in class when the new girl came in.

I wanted to get up quickly but contained myself

"You should be running " the new girl said

"I'm sorry" I replied like I said shivering as stood up immediately when she said

"Hold hold hold,what's up with this attitude,do I look like a ghost to you?"

Immediately it occurred to me that she wasn't really like Jennel but who knows it might be a prank since she now talks with jennel and her friends.

"I'm sorry I I . " I stammered

"You feel scared? Or come on...."
She said as there was a few seconds silence that felt like an hour

"Well I'm pixie"she said offering a handshake

" I'm I'm Jordan" I replied shaking hands with her

" Nice to meet you JoJo" she said

"Thanks , it's actually J. D for short"

"Hmmm okay, how about I buy you a drink ? "

" Sure" I replied as we left for the cafeteria

We talked on and on, she really had some hilarious vibes, the sports were over and jennel and her friends walked in on us

I stood up quickly but pixie asked me to sit which I did

"Hi pixie" Evelyn said

"Hi guys" she replied

"What are you doing with this looser?" Jennel asked

"Yeah what are you doing with this piece of s**t" Evelyn added as I sat with my face below

" I can't seem to find a looser anywhere here neither a piece of s**t" pixie replied

" Excuse me! This Jordan or what ever she's called is the looser and we shouldn't be seen with her" Evelyn said as Neile held my hair

" Hands off her hair!" Pixie screamed at Neile which got me amazed

" Oh wow! I see you're nothing less than a looser yourself . Henceforth we do not want to see your around us , else.. " jennel said

" Else what? We weren't even friends. Huh you were all stalking me. I'm guessing you haven't seen an hot girl before? Hunh" pixie flinged back immediately
" Now I do not want to see you anywhere around Jordan bullying her and any other girl , else you're gonna be seeing what you've never tasted" pixie said as she gave a Stern look at them.
I could see they were frightened.
Wow I've never seen them belittled before

They left without saying a word

"Why did you do that?" I asked gratefully

"You're my friend, friends stand for each other" she said smiling

She just called me a friend, my heart leaped
"Thank you pixie"

"You're welcome JoJo
Or sorry J.D"

"Oh no it's fine, JoJo is a nice abb too" I said smiling broadly

We spent the rest of the day together. For the first time, I felt free and had peace.

Our places where not too far from each other's but quick a handful distance with the description she said.....

I go home and met my mum already home

"You should introduce me to this boy J.D"She said noticing my smile

" Good afternoon mum
And pleease it doesn't have to be a boy all the time" I said and that was when Dantel crossed my mind,it's been a while

" Okay if you say so, freshen up and come eat mmh" mum said

" Okay mum" I replied

"Hey". Dantel said

"Hi Dantel " I said with a funny kind of smile

"You look beautiful" he said

"Thank you" I said still smiling
"You came to see someone? " I asked

" Yeah , you actually " he replied as I blushed
Dantel was in college
He was the previous set of the seniors

Life was better when Dantel was here, though Jennel and her friends still bullied me to a certain extent
Evelyn and Jennel both liked Dantel,so it kinda weakened their friendship

Dantel never asked me out,but his advances could tell that he liked me and I like him too but sadly that was were it all ended,we never dated

"Jordan,Jordan are you here?" Dantel asked waving at my face

"Yess,sorry just lost in thoughts" I said

Soon the witches passed and gave a very evil glance

"You still haven't faced them, have you?" Dantel asked

"No I'm not like other girls Dan,I'm just me" I said sadly

" Hey no need to be sad,it's okay
You are good person and good will always prevail over evil
Just get a good friend, things will change for the best, trust me" he said as he placed his hands on my face and gently caressing it along with my hair

" Thanks Dan" I said smiling

"Can we go out?" He asked

" I would love to but I didn't tell me mum I would stay out,I'm sorry"

"It's fine ,I'll just catch up with some of the guys then
This is my number" he said as he brought out a neat piece of paper like he had planned to give me

"Alright I'll call you " I said as I smiled happily and turned to leave. I couldn't walk well knowing he was staring at me, till I vanished into thin air

I got home ate and sat on my bed day dreaming

"Who's he ?" Mum said as I shook within

"Gosh mum, can I at least have some privacy,you scared me" I said

"I haven't seen you smiled like that in a long while"

" Well I just had a good day at school"

" So it's a actually a boy"

" Mummmmm
Does it have to be a boy,I just had a good time ,no troubles,no worries,and no falling from the stairs too" I said as I and mum laughed

" I see,just be careful Okay"

" I will mum
Thanks" thanks I said as I smiled she stood up

" Goodnight my baby"

"Goodnight mum"

My mum left and I brought out the paper Dantel gave me and texted him
And that was were it all began,we talked all night.

"Jooorrrddaaan..." My mum called my name so loud that I woke up suddenly moving up and down to no where in particular before I could regain my consciousness

"Oh God" I said as I sighed

"Mum I'm up" I finally replied

"Well I'm off to work,be good okay" she said and I noticed some footsteps from far noting she had went out, soon I could hear the car driving off

I had my bath and brushed my teeth,dressed and went to have my breakfast
She had left 2dollars on the table and a lunch pack

I took the money and lunch pack,hid it in my bag and took a bus to school

I got to school late and so I didn't get to meet with Jennel and her friends at a close range

I got to class and there was already a teacher

"Good morning ma" I greeted Mrs Smith the Biology teacher as I tried to move further when she said

"Hold on,hold on
Good morning Miss Jordan
Why are you just coming if I may ask? "

" I'm sorry ma,I overslept"

" Well you definitely shouldn't take this attitude to college, you may never graduate"

" I'm sorry ma, it won't repeat itself again"

" You can have your sit"
She said as I went to sit down and that was when I noticed there was a new girl next to me.

My heart was beating so fast
Her looks were amazing but she looked fierce even more fierce than the witches
Just looks could send shiverings even when she was beautiful

"Would you stop that?" Mr Zappos the principal yelled out but trust me it was useless. Not because they wouldn't stop but because some how they always got away with it.
They were never punished.
"The three of you in my office now" Mr Zappos said to jennel and her friends
" you get yourself to the health care " he said to me

I could barely move, Damn! I was in pains
I crawled until I could get hold of myself .
I nearly fell while walking, it was Pricy and some other student who assisted me to the school's clinic

Pricy stayed back when we got there
"I'm sorry Jordan, those girls are really something else" pricy said

" Huh
Is that all you have to say?
why didn't you fight for me? Unh?
I'm sure you took alot of pictures" I said angrily and in pains

" Jordan... You know I possibly can't fight them
They are way stronger, had to go call the principal
I'm sorry Jordan"

"To hell with your sorry, leave me alone" I said angrily as pricy left without speaking further

Yeah I didn't feel bad, she's always coming to fight a war when the battle is over
Cheap heroism!

"Argh" I screamed in pain
"My neck"
I couldn't go to class after wards.
Tried to sleep but the pains and headache wouldn't let me.
I just sat graoning.
Immediately I heard the bell I took my bag and left the school's clinic.

Just before I left the school's gate, I passed at a little distance by the three witches with my head down and Stitches all over and they gave a wicked smile and aa wave.

I took a bus and head home
Went into the kitchen and placed food in the oven while I boil hot water to press my body

Soon mum came back and met me pale.
"Oh my baby, what's wrong? Who did this to you" she asked millions of question as she flung herself over

"Ouch mum be careful"

"Sorry, what happened?"

"I just has a terrible fall from the stairs at school" I lied

" Gosh this looks pretty bad" mum said as she took the napkin and massage my body while I screamed lightly

All through the night I kept thinking of how mean Jennel and her friends had been to me.
Each memory was ever fresh
I wished I was bold, I wished I was strong.
Indeed if wishes wree horses, beggars would ride

I couldn't go to school, I was tired
My mum gave me 3dollars
Phew that would go a long way adding to the one I'll get if I go to school tomorrow.

I got to school the day after and my class seemed to be talking about someone
There were silent whisperings all over.

During lunch I searched for jennel and found them but they didn't seem happy.

"Hi jennel here is the 5 dollars" I said handing over the money to her
" And I'm sorry for delaying, it won't repeat itself"

Jennel and her friends looked at me and rolled their eyes angrily , took the money and threw it at me

"Would you get out from here!" Jennel yelled and it sent shiverings down my spine

I picked the money and left confused
Where these not the girls who humiliated me because I didn't have the money
Now they throw it back at me
Hmmm these girls are confused beings I said within

You might be thinking of I owe them
Naahhh, those witches make me pay 10 dollars every week for no reason
That's the whole money my mum gives me in week except in rare cases where I plead and she gives me 5 dollars, rarely though.

I do pay twice, instal mentally

Now they reject the first half
That's unusual
I thought of spending it but who knows their brains might go nuts again and they come ask for it.

School closed and I couldn't see the witches anywhere
"Pheew" I breathe in and out
No one to make spend extra hour today I said as I hopped happily

"Jordan" Pricy called
"You're well now, how are you?"

" Huh as you can see I am fine and why do you care how I am, cheap heroist," I said

" Jordan I just want to be friends with you and I don't know why you're always negative towards me. You always play nice when I try to be friendly to you"

" Well maybe that's because I don't like you!
Beat it girl,you are just trying to be the saviour of the day
Stay away from me Pricy, I don't need friends from weaklings" I said as I left and Pricy felt abash

Hush I don't like her, she's just too innocent
She can't help me out of the cage of those witches,she can't!

"Jordan" someone called me again

" Oh gosh,can you guys just let me be" I turned and it was Dantel

"Oh my God" I said as my heart leaped

"Hi Jenelle " I said with my head facing down

" seems you brought breakfast for us today" Evelyn said as she took my lunch pack from me and I tried to resist weakly

"That's my lunch " I stammered

"What did you say?" Evelyn asked sarcastically as I remained

" Yeah that's right, I thought so too" Evelyn said

"Where's our money? " Jennel asked stretching her hands

"I , I.... I don't have it " I said stammering and almost shaking

"You what!?" Jennel yelled
"Well I'm sure you're joking bec...." Jennel said as the first class bell rang

"Uhhh" Evelyn grunted

"Those idiots" Neile said

"We aren't done, expect us at lunch" Jennel said as she turned while Evelyn gave a fake attempt to blow

"Uhhh" I sighed softly
Told y'all my nightmares happen in the day

Those where the Queens of high school
Jennel, Neile and Evelyn.

Jennel was a fashionista.
Bold ,Vigourous, beautiful, nicely shaped and puffed up

Neile was tall,talked much less than the other two, always chewing gum,she was a silent badass

As for Evelyn,she was more like Jennel except that she was not as beautiful as the others.
I usually think she feels Insecure that's why she was friends with jennel and Neile

We were all age mates , or they'd probably me months older than myself.
Um, maybe 8 or 10

"aren't you going for class?" Pricy said as she made a gentle touch on my shoulder making me come to back to reality
I had been lost in thoughts

"Oh yeah thanks" I answered

"Let's go together then"
Pricy said

Yeah she was like that.
Always trying to help me or play nice.
For some reason I didn't like her never wanted to make her a friend.
She was just more of an acquaintance.
She wasn't bad,no no.
She was really calm,nice and friendly but I needed someone who could stand up for me with the three witches showed up
For some reason unknown,I haven't seen Pricy been bullied by them.
Well they definitely couldn't bully every student , they just prey on not only the weak ones but also the vulnerable, so I thought

So yeah I didn't like her,just couldn't.
I needed someone to take me off my comfort zone......

We walked together to class.
We had oral English.
It was Mr Jo who was the teacher.
He was just like a normal teacher would be.
We got into the class I went to my sit,at the front
Luckily the teacher wasn't there yet
Yeah I know you're thinking I didn't bade Pricy with a thank you or even a friendly smile
Yeah I didn't like her.

Her sit was at the back,while the three witches where at the middle and the two ends of the class.

They looked sternly at me as I sat and I gave a quick look at them and brought out my books

Mr Jo came in and began tutoring and so it went till lunch

At lunch I tried as much to avoid jennel and her friends but it was like I was been monitored by a camera. How frustrating!
I accepted my fate.
I went to buy some snacks as I was hungry.
As I sat to eat at an empty table, there came the three witches
Well I'm used it to, but each day it felt like it was my first time. Fresh and painful...

"You said you didn't have our money and here you are eating" Jennel said as she placed her hand on the desk

" I have just one dollar , I have use the other to buy lunch since you took my lunch" I said

" Hahaha mmh mmh mmh" Evelyn and jennel gave a sarcastic laugh as jennel suddenly hit the table so hard drawing other students attention

"have you gone nuts?" She asked

"I'm sorry I...." before u could finish my statement Neile held my hair and drew me out making me go my knees as she spilled the drink I bought in my face and smashed the snack all over me as she drew me around by my hair students took pictures , laughed and some others were angry but who could speak to the Queens..

I screamed and pleaded but still Neile?
Neile wouldn't let go.
I told you,she was a silent badass

Jordan POV

Yeah, this is me Jordan Williams, 17 and I just graduated to senior year at Crystal College .

I'm the only girl with two elder brothers who are hardly home, so most times it's just me and mum; dad's rarely at home because he works off shore so it's just me and mum .
Well mum also works at a hotel, just that we do have same 'non home time'

From 8 till 2 I'm at school and she's at work, I do spend some extra times at school though.
Not because I want to, but why; you'll soon get to know

My family aren't poor,just a middle class family

"Jordan" my mum called
"You're gonna be late for school" she said

"I'm almost done " combing my hair as I sighed

" Morning mum" I said greeted

"Morning my darling" she said as she kissed my forehead
" Hope you slept well" she asked

"Well ,kinda" I replied sluggishly

"Why ?had nightmares?"

"Well sadly my nightmares happen the day not night" I said sarcastically as I say at the dinning

" I've told you Jordan,it's your last year,I just can't change your school
Just make the best of the year,have fun,make friends,do crazy stuff
It's your last Jordan,you better make the best of it" she advised caressing my hair

" Yeah yeah, I hear you" I said as I begin to eat

"That's my girl" she said smiling.
"Well hurry up, I'm dropping you off today"

" That's great" I said as I rounded up, it was quite a small meals but highly nourishing

"Here" she said handing me a brown sack
"That's your lunch"

"Oh no mum, not today again" I said looking frustrated

" Oh yeah Jordan, you eating little so you're gonna need that for lunch" she said
" Don't you even get hungry at school? You always complain whenever given lunch or you've got friends at school who you eat with? "

" I wish" I snuffled

" Well I don't have 5 dollars to spare today so you're just gonna take that "

" Oh no no mum please I need that money or I'm gonna die, please mum" I pleaded almost weeping

" Sorry baby girl, I ain't got s**t to give"she said as I felt suddenly weakened
" What the hell do you even use such money for? Huh you better take that lunch and hop in to the car" she said as she took her keys and bag and I followed limping

"Mum I don't think I can go to school today,I feel sick" I said as I sat at the front seat

"You suddenly feel ill? Well you'll just have to help at the school clinic cos you can't staying home today"

" Mum please I really need this money" I pleaded

" I'm only gonna give you a dollar" she said as she dipped her hands into her bag

"Mummmmm, just a dollar, it's as good as nothing" I said

" Oksy then I'll just keep my money" she said withdrawing her hand as I quick held her hands and collected the money

"You're becoming a spoilt child J,d" she said as she started the car and we took off

We moved at a very considerate speed as I admired the beauty of nature.
The morning view and air were so fascinating as I hallucinated and wished it never ended

"Alright , off you go" my mum halted
It was a 15 minutes drive

"Unnnnh" I gave a calm solemn sigh and stepped out
"Bye mum,see you later" I said as I took my bag but intentionally left my lunch

"Uunh unh Jordan,not today take this right now" she said as I took it frowning
" Here's an extra dollar" she said as I smiled though weakly

" Thanks mum,I love you"

"I love you too my baby " she said smiling
" Now you take care of yourself "

"Okay mum, bye" I said as I turned and left
I could feel she stared at me until I got mixed with the crowd of students

Honestly I just couldn't wait to get into college
High school hasn't been fun for me
I walked swiftly not because I was late for class but just to avoid the morning madness

"Going somewhere" She said putting me on hold

" Oh no,not this morning again" I said as I made a turn
