Europeans called African herbalists witch doctors, and we accept that classification. What is witchcraft about herbal healing? Even God uses herbs to heal (Rev 22:2). The man who invents bombs to kill is a scientist, but the one who uses herbs to heal is a witch. Who is truly the witch or warlock of the two? Herbalism is organic medicine.

For example, Ose dudu (dudu Osun) can cure almost any skin condition. Chewing stick cleans as good and sometimes better than toothbrushes. Unripe plantains boost male libido. Wild African ginger relieves respiratory problems. Bitter leaf (Vernonia amygdalina) has been scientifically proven to roll back diabetes. And there are other African herbal remedies. Not only do they work, they also have fewer or no side effects. Just being around herbs and plants alone is advantageous to your health.

In fact, much of what we Africans ignorantly call Jazz is what White Europeans call science. In my language, technology is known as olosho oyibo, Itsekiri, which translates as White man's witchcraft! Whether it is herbalism or Ifa divination, let us look inward and use the ancient wisdoms bequeathed to us by our ancestors to develop our military-industrial complex.

Don't think you are too posh for herbs. I have been crisscrossing the globe since the age of nine. Yet, I am not too posh for my roots. Read Scripture. The primary purpose of plants is as food and medicine-Ezekiel 47:12.

Some Interesting facts about Nigeria

1. Nigeria is the seventh-most populous country in the world, home to more than 200 million people. While that may be a lot of people, population numbers would likely be even higher if it weren't for the country's high mortality rates and low life expectancy.

2. While there are a number of different religions practiced in Nigeria, the majority of the population is either Christian or Muslim.

3. The town of Igbo-Ora is known as the nation's home of twins. Many of the local Yoruba people believe their consumption of yams and okra leaves to be the cause of their high birth rate of twins. While some fertility experts believe that certain yams contain a natural hormone that could cause multiple ovulation, there is no scientific evidence of this phenomenon.

4. Nigeria is a diverse multiethnic country with more than 520 spoken languages. While English is the official language, Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo are also major languages in the country.

5. Lagos, the former capital of Nigeria before being moved to Abuja, is the country's largest and most populous city and has been dubbed "Africa's Big Apple," in reference to New York City.

6. The country's film industry, known as Nollywood, is one of the largest film producers in the world, second only to India's Bollywood.

7. Nigeria is home to Aliko Dangote, the richest man in Africa. Dangote's business interests in agriculture, banking, cement, manufacturing, salt and sugar have earned his net worth of more than $12 billion.

8. Largely due to its export market, Nigeria is the largest economy in Africa. While the agricultural industry accounts for approximately 70 percent of the country's employment, petroleum products are the primary export—accounting for more than 90 percent of Nigeria's exports.

9. Like in other African countries, some Nigerians consider the left hand to be unclean and using it to be a sign of disrespect. Those that believe this do not eat, shake hands or receive items

Some interesting facts about the Comoros island 🇰🇲

1)- Comoros is a sovereign archipelago island nation in the Indian Ocean between the eastern coast of Africa and Madagascar.
Comoros gained its independence in 1975 from France. It comprises of four major islands – Grand Comoros (Njazidja), Anjouan (Nzwani), Moheli (Mwali) and Mayotte. However, despite Mayotte being recognized by UN as part of Comoros, France still administers it.

France has taken advantage of its veto power at UN Security Council to stop it from being reunited with the rest of Comoros.

It has also sought to ‘bribe’ people of Mayotte through economic inducements and French ‘citizenship’ in order to dissuade them from rejoining their poverty-stricken brothers and sisters in the rest of Comoros.

2)- With fewer than a million people, Comoros is one of the least populous countries in the world but is also one of the most densely populated.
Comoros, despite its small population, is one of the most densely populated countries in Africa due to its small size.

It has an average population density of 443 people per square kilometer making it the 15th most densely populated country in the world despite ranking as the 178th in terms of total area and 165th in terms of the overall population.

This is significantly very high population density considering that Comoros is largely rural with two-thirds of its population living in rural areas.

3)- Moheli Marine Park is the first protected area in Comoros. It was established on 19 April 2001.
Moheli Marine Park, which rests within the Mozambican Channel, is unique in its own kind. It is home to coelacanths – a rare species of fish almost endemic within that region. It is also home to a variety of sharks and humpback whales. This is the easiest place to view the humpback whale off the East African coast.

4)- Comoros is the world's largest producer of ylang-ylang, which is valued for the perfume extracted from its flowers.
