The formula for the PAID is 👇 =SUM((C6:C25)*(E6:E25="Paid")) For the UNPAID 👇 =SUM((C6:C25)*(E6:E25="")) In this formula, the asterisk ✳️ is used between the two cell ranges to determine the criteria. Another formula that would easily solve this would be 👇 PAID: =SUMIF(E6:E25,"Paid",C6:C25) UNPAID: =SUMIF(E6:E25,"",C6:C25) Here, the SUMIF function is used, which is a common function in Excel and Google Sheets. The question for you is, what is the role of the asterisk * in the first two formulas? What do we call that role?
