Weeks ago I attempted frying puff after learning but jeezzz the puff I know is usually soft and yummy 😋, my first attempt was shapeless and hard!😂 I couldn't even try it. My Sister had termed it "puffaka" lol, it wasn't funny really and I wasn't happy at the time but then I had to console myself and prepare for another attempt.

After some dayss and asking questions why mine turned out that way I set out to try another, it wasn't perfect but there was an improvement🙂 pics down is the second attempt.

By my third attempt which I had decided to gift out, it was smooth and inviting and had the yummiest taste!😋 this was confirmed by the couples I had gifted, it was really cool having them enjoy every bite of it😊

So when you out on a new project don't look out for perfection immediately and enjoy the process.... Good day beautiful people

WORK, PRAY, AND GATHER

Doing business is one major way of increasing one's finance but then alot of things; loans, credits, delayed payments goes on and on and yes, it does has a negative effect on the business. If I were to start business all over....

4. Well, as humans, we tend to worry big time about things that isn't worth it. Feeding on my strength more than struggling with my excesses will be highly considered.

As a business owner, an entrepreneur, with experience and books, I've come to know that having repeat customers for your business is not measured by the number of times you give out sales bonuses, rewards for constant patronages and all that..

It is by how prompt you help solve their immediate needs with your products or services, by how well you're able to communicate with them through informations about your product or services and convincing adverts. Plan and re plan again.

Knowing who you are and having that Confidence in everything you stand for is one of the best things that can ever happen to you. It tells the kind of people you'll have around you, it commands respect for you, telling people how best to treat you.

I have been in threatening situations where I was left with "You can't do without us, it's either here or nowhere, we will call the shots." It was scary and I was worried. In the midst of it, I refused to accept it as final. I walked into an empty room, recalled the words, nodded my head strongly, and began talking to God, not prayers now, it was more of a friend-to-friend conversation. Challenging HIM, giving out words of confidence and sincerely I felt lighter and the process began. It happened swiftly and easy that I couldn't even imagine it was a "supposed" problem before. Tomorrow with same people, I don't think it's going to be the same again because they've seen results stronger theirs.

There's always a place for Confidence as a business owner, a leader, a pastor.....truly everything will be made easier.

HOW BOOKS ARE HELPING ME IN BUSINESS

In between the pages of books are words that can help build you in every aspect of life as you so desire.

Books add value to you if well managed. I can say this because it is an experience that isn't going away anytime. I love books. I love anything that will help me grow. Sometimes I get too lazy to start but trust me not for so long.

Last year I had seen how much I improved in my writing and communication skills. And how much I had learned to properly use certain words without having to indulge Google. This was all thanks to the books I read.

No, this year shouldn't be left out. I am currently reading a business book I got some months ago, it's is titled "Increasing Customer Loyalty". This book has opened up to so many things I had no idea about. And just as the name implies, as a business owner it'll help you make out the best in handling customers. So, go get a copy and start the learning process.

I will recommend start buying and reading books in your area of interest.

WHY BUSINESS?

There are so many reasons why people go into business but of all FUNDS are the 1st and last!

For me it's the funds first, being financially independent is bae🤠

Gone are the days when you rely on others(family, friends...) for financial assistance especially as a graduate. Even as a student having a side hustle is very important nowadays if you don't want to get stranded at some point in school. Of course mummy and daddy will send money but how long will you need to wait to receive it with the present state of the country.

As a business person, you'll agree with me that challenges are inevitable, but how well you manage those challenges will tell whether or not a first time customer will return to your store.

Well, so far I have had a handy of such. Lol. Trust me, it isn't always easy to manage challenges that comes with running a business because humans are difficult!

I had a first time customer who placed an order for 2 packs of Adrion Kilishi, she payed for it and was patiently waiting for it at first. I called a rider (different from my own dispatch rider because he was busy with other deliveries) who I thought could deliver very fast as well. He assured me that he will be at my location at a certain time.

Lol, this person kept me waiting for good number of minutes. When I called him to confirm if he was still going to come, he kept saying "I dey this your junction, you go soon see me."

Twice he gave this response, I knew relying on this dispatch rider won't end well, but I had no other options as other delivery guys seems to be busy or charges ridiculous amount.

After waiting for long, I called back and it was still the same story. I'm now wondering if the junction he is talking about is different from the one I know.

The next time I called, he was no longer picking, I was so disappointed and angry, I mean why didn't he just say he won't make it instead of all that. In the end I fell back to my rider who was now available.

Now, in-between all of the drama, the customer after waiting for longgg, was beginning to think I was a scammer, smiles.

I didn't let that crippling feeling last as I kept on calling to give her update about the situation. I had resulted to refunding and apologizing but no, on a second thought this deal needed to be sealed not just because of the money, but yes, there are legit online vendors even though bad people are spoiling it!

She needed to travel, infact she left as it became a matter of urgency but later received her order because of the strong communication I had kept through it all.

You see, challenges are bound to come dear business owner but find a way to not let it destroy your business relationships. Maintain calmness and always have a positive mindset.

KILISHI ('Beef jerky' in English) is a dried, spiced meat(cow, sheep, goat...mostly cow(beef)) produced majorly in the North.
