UNVEILING ESTHER

In a confused and degenerated generation, where
standards and measures are so quickly changed,
that true, original concepts and ideals are often
quickly lost on the road of times and modern
inventions. Some stars showed long ago in the
firmament of times, the passing years have failed to
dim their shine.

They have stood the test of all times and their records have yielded to no breaking. They were never super-
beings but simple and ordinary people made great by
the Arm of the Almighty Himself; having endeared
and commanded His attention through the fragrance
from their lives.

Esther is one star that has refused to dim even with
the passing of time. She was a lady of no means, that
life and situation seem to be against. She was an
unprivileged child, who took privilege in God to
climb the ladder of glory. She is forever a living
testimony of the faithfulness of God.

She was an orphan from childhood but she never
allowed that to stand in the way of her destiny. She
didn't allow the tears of yesteryears to blind her fromthe glorious destiny ahead. She was a lady that
endeared herself to her maker by the quality of life
that flowed from her.

She was not an ambitious woman but simply a young lady in pursuit of her God given destiny, who embraced a lifestyle pleasing to God irrespective of societal or customary standards. She is a lady of purity, humble background; full of grace and favour. She was ever so obedient to her uncle and risked the worth of her life to save her people.

She is a lady of purpose who knew why she was
brought to position, influence and prosperity. She did
not allow her wealth, fame, power and beauty to
corrupt or blind her. She was meek and lowly in heart
and easy to be entreated by her people.

She was a spiritual woman who depended and
preferred the help of God to the help of man. She
didn't relyoher contacts, prestige or even her
feminine touch. She set all her hope in God.

She conquered all her enemies with love and on two
consecutive occasions invited the enemy of her
people to a banquet. She is a lady of sacrifice who never forgot her roots. She was ready to sacrifice her life for her nation; If I perish, I perish was her slogan. She cast aside all weight and sin that could easily besets her, to face the challenge of her life.

In all, she conquered. Having made God her strength
and Hope she not only got victory for herself but for
her people and nation. She has become a role model
for ladies of all generations. Astar that has refused to
dim; a good path that no woman can ignore. Amust in
every home and kingdom.

OUR FATHER

There is a residue of God that is in every man, even the vilest of men that is overshadowed by sin and the flesh. Something somewhere lies even deep down in the most chronic of atheist that yearns after God, the
voice he may even deny and regard it as a voice of
conflict.That is often the last strand of God crying out for expression in the most disconnected of men even from His residue. God originally in man trying to
be discovered, yet with no outlet to come forth. That
is why over the years man has one way or the other
tried to link up with God using even inanimate
objects wrongfully. For his fallen state makes him
feel unworthy.

No wonder when Paul visited Athens and saw their
inscription on Mars hill: 'TO AN UNKOWN GOD '.
He boldly told them that he was bringing a message
and a discovery of THE GOD WHO THEY
IGNORANTLY WORSHIP. He further averted their minds to the fact that even certain of their poets in their poetic wanderings and expressions have also alluded to this same God, though they knew not how to reach Him.Therefore, it no strange that all over the world men are seeking after this same God in a way they think they can find Him, which often offers no guaranty.

For we know that certain entities and fallen spirits
also seek to masquerade as God, which if not
discerned could make the atheist position even look
like a child's play. Spiritual misdirection's and
errors ends up a spiritual fraud on a genuine seeker
of God blinded by what he thinks is a true reality.
He now is in the murky waters of religion, which is
the messiest of all mess. He actually thinks, he who
is trying to get him out is the one in the mire. The
attempt to bring him out sinks him deeper as he
leaps in his convictions, propelled up by a rocket
that cannot be sustained, so it crashes down.

The desire of his soul to affirm his conviction on the
way he thinks right, sinks him even deeper. If not
checked even the deliver can be dragged down the
mire with Him.Oh what conflict of the soul! It reminds me of the popular poem called: 'the fence'. Where the pathetic soul of man is in conflict and his undecided
position is captured. For the spiritual and the terrestrial are often like two parallel lines that never meets.
The only connection claimed by the spiritual man in his elementary spiritual position of knowing God, which his device has enabled him to link up with the spiritual, is the device of 'FAITH'. That is even if the physical and the carnal minded man will indeed believe his testimony which is true but which he may struggle hard to prove, for he may not have grown in the Spirit with enough back up of Power to corroborate his testimony.

Men therefore have seen religion as the most wonderful vehicle to drive on spiritual route in the
journey into the unknown voyage in search of the
true heaven and God. This is indeed a wonderful relief to a true spiritual seeker and an attempt to quench his longing soul. The problem is that this voyage often leads to different discoveries of different heavens; patterns, laws, ordinances, protocols, cultures, divine beings and description of different gods. The spiritually diplomatic soul may wish the lines of these differences be wished away for the journey and voyage of discovery is such a hectic one that he is not ready to go on another voyage in separating the wheat from the chaff or picking stones out of beans. Indeed, its worthy of all sympathy.

Yet, the fair minded and most reasonable of all men
know very well that the most important talk, event,
business or discourse is eternity or what lies after
this world. Even if, one believes there is nothing at
all, that all life extinct after this present life. Yet, the
principle of care, will still avert that one does what
he may think is right to get himself a right spot if
perhaps eternity becomes a reality, so one does not find himself in troubled spot.Therefore, permit me to say that only a loose, careless and unreasonable soul will think it not important to find the true God and secure an eternal abode where one will check in when the affairs of this life is over. For the nature of life is so transient and so brief that indeed greater premium
should ordinarily be placed on where we are going
rather than where we are now, even if one is to live a
thousand years.

Some have looked into the heavens and in their deep desperation have cried out to God to show up if truly He exists and save us all from this spiritual waters of confusion and array of presumptuous hopes. This is indeed pitiful and understandable but wrongly placed. For just like the earth has her laws like gravity and others which the earth adheres to. The spiritual and the true God also has His laws, ordinances, protocols, administration, culture and civilization that are already in place which are MOST SUPREME and above all. So
that what the ordinary man ask may be spiritually
unreasonable, though he feels self-justified and
reasonable in his own mind. That is why we earlier mentioned the vehicle of faith as a good starter in this discovery. When the humble soul gets to know more of heaven and the true God and the picture gets clearer. Not because we COMMAND GOD'S APPEARANCE BUT BECAUSE HE COMMENDED HIMSELF TO US.

Therefore, I once heard: 'humble yourself therefore under His Mighty hand that He may exalts you in due season. For this God is only close to the humble and contrite in heart.Therefore, irrespective of our religion, it is often better to come to Him, poor in spirit, for I heard that those group of people will see God. I don't
think that is too much a price if one must observe, in
finding the true God. We want to be able to lay hold of this true, perhaps the journey of discovering or uncovering 'OUR FATHER', will be easier and reward with certainty of truth.

Permit me to take a little ride through the bible, perhaps it will offer us a template and opportunity to open up understanding. Therefore, even in the bible men have related with the divine one: God, all through the years. He has revealed Himself in so many ways depending on time and dispensation but all through Ages He is known as the ALMIGHTY GOD.

COVENANT WEALTH OF GOD

Friendship is an obvious hand of love. When you claim you love someone without proof of allegiance or friendship, it is not a tested love and as such remains love unconfirmed. The Holy Spirit made me to realize that the basis of friendship with God is love. When you love someone so much and you don't want to lose him, you extend to him a hand of friendship. If you meet someone in a bus or supermarket or in the church and you get talking and you appreciate the wisdom in such person, you exchange addresses or complimentary cards or telephone numbers. Why? simply because you want to give your love a hand of friendship. Friendship is an obvious hand of love and as such remains love unconfirmed.

When God said He loved the world He did not end it there, the Bible says
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life

So out of God's love for mankind, He gave His one and only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Love that is not expressed is no love. If you really love God you will show it and when you show it He will know and He will come and make His friendship with you. Jesus answered and said into him if any man loves me he will keep my words and my Father will love him and we will come unto him and make our abode with him John 14:23.

So God is ever ready to sign a friendship pact with you, if you think you truly love Him. He also gaurantees us the love of the Father and His ever abiding presence, so our love for God is not in vain. One of the important things it does is to usher in the friendship of God for a successful and victorious Christian living. Without being a friend of God you never really know His heart.

You who is the signature and approval of God to
validate His actions; you who carry us in the clear
path of His irrevocable Will as we remain abiding
and forever-students in the School of the Spirit.

The legislator of the intendment of heaven and
executor of His command. The green light to the
angels who excel in strength. The time keeper of
all season, never failing to open the book of
remembrance when all sorrows shall be assuage.

You who is the language of the first born sons of God. Time keeper of the watchers from above that never fails yet King in all eternity regulating time still.
You who is the only official legal tender bank of heaven to receive the purchase of grace. You who creates the atmosphere for the supernatural. You the greatest enemy of fear that frustrates doubt, you who humiliates unbelief and crucifier of double mind, you the immortal enemy of death and hades.

You who terror fears to look at.You the protocol remover for unhindered access to God the Father of the spirits; you without which no man can see the Son or hear the echo of the Spirit. You are our Power, unabated force and commendation before God.

You my badge of eternal medal of honour before my maker. My trust, shield and the evidence of all my hope in Christ. You who gave agape value in all my season of discomfort, while my intricate parts were being knit. You are my attestation before the Holy Mount of God, the seal of my heart felt assurance even at heaven's gate.

UNVEILING ESTHER

She may not have been celebrated, friends may have taunted her and called her virgin Mary. She may not have had the best clothes to wear; the cream to rub or the best perfume to put on, but she was all gloriously clothed within.

Her dressing was the ever increasing love that radiated
from her heart,her obedient and respectful attitude to all around her especially Uncle Mordecai, coupled with her meek and quiet spirit. She may not have received the best treatment from uncle Mordecai's family, but she didn't tell the neighbours in gossip, she appreciated all around her, she knew she had a great destiny ahead of her and she would never compromise.

No wonder when they were looking for fair young virgins in town, every one suggested her name. The king's servant heard her name on the lips of all the dwellers. Who is this Esther that everybody is talking so well about, they asked?.

She was at the back of the house grinding condiments to cook the evening meal for the family when news came to her that she was urgently needed at the palace. As she made haste to pack her little belonging, she was told that the palace had made provision for her, she need not take anything ''just come as you have been called'' She begged them still to allow her finish her cooking, but uncle Mordecai bid her to go that her cousin, Ruth will complete whatever was left. All she could do at that instance was to wash her face and feet, straightaway to the king's palace, to the custody of Hegai; the king's chamberlain.

There Esther had met other ladies who were also picked for the selection but what they never knew was that the king had put among them spies who disguised as co- contestants .

They all talked,laughed and joked as they got to know each other and rehearsed what they would do, if they became queen. Some spoke of how they would wear the most expensive clothes, jewelries and perfumes; others talked of the body enhancement and plastic surgeries they would want to do, some talked of their plans to travel to every part of the globe, while others had no plans because the whole thing happened too sudden, they weren't prepared.

But young Esther would not talk. It wasn't long that one of the maidens noticed that she had not been contributing in their gist. Doesn't Esther have any plans if she should become queen, one lady whispered? Then Esther lifted up her face and it seemed to glow, she replied, I have known only one life throughout my years, and that is as an orphan. If there is one thing would love to do in life, it is to help the helpless.

Everyone laughed her to scorn 'good Samaritan' one screamed. Then you have no business here said Bola, when I become queen, I will open a charitable institution and I will put you in charge, and everyone laughed. Before the laughter could end, Hegai called out Kumi, it's your turn tonight. You will be going in to the king so get set, the chamberlains will soon arrive. All her mates kissed her and wished her the best.

Before Kumi would leave to see the king, she asked Hegai for the best perfumes and designer soaps to use and even further slit her skirt to appear gorgeous and sexy before king Ahasuerus. Hegai said nothing, but just gave her all she asked for. If kumi had bothered to look at his face, she would have noticed that he didn't look too impressed.

Kumi returned the next morning crying, no one needed to be told that she had not made it too. She would have to remain as one of the king's concubine to serve his pleasure in the custody of Shaashgaz; keeper of the king's concubine, and would only come before the king if he ever remembers her and calls her by her name.
