Good evening all,

I have received the declared results in my constituency, and my heart is filled with thanksgiving to God for my political journey over the last 9 months and how far God has brought us. Thank you, Jesus, for your eternal faithfulness.

I know it is painful to see the will of the people invalidated with electoral malpractices and electoral fraud. We have received various reports in Ibadan North of injustices perpetuated by the upload of falsified results after intentionally not uploading results of poling units in front of the people at their poling units.

To all our supporters and all who believe in our vision for our constituency and gave freely of their time, energy, and resources, I say thank you, most certainly you will not loose your rewards. May you also enjoy the gift of men for your aspirations.

Though the results may not have turned out the way many of you may have wished, we most certainly fought a good fight, and I am so super excited at the statement we have made and I have no regrets that I picked up the ticket about 8 months ago, this has grown me in no small way and I have learnt so much in such a short period. I can assure you all that we won in a lot of other ways.

I congratulate the winner, Hon. Olaide Akinremi of the APC. I must also salute the courage of the other fellow contestants, Mr. Farouk Arisekola-Alao of the Accord party and Mr. Lanre Sarumi of the PDP. Thanks for a great contest.

Once again, I thank you, Ibadan North, for every single vote you gave me in the elections.
