Choc chip cookie bars 🍪
Ingredients
2 cups plain flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp cornflour (corn starch)
1 cup melted butter (unsalted)
2 eggs and 1 egg yolk
1 cup choc chips / roughly chopped chocolate
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda (bicarbonate of soda)
1/2 tsp salt

Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 190 Degrees Celsius.

2 . In a large bowl beat the melted butter and sugars. Then add the eggs, egg yolk ,vanilla and mix together.

3. Sift in flour , corn starch (cornflour) , baking soda and salt . Then mix until well combined.

4. Now add the chocolate pieces or choc chips and combine well .

5. Line the baking pan with parchment paper and spread the cookie dough . Sprinkle some more choc chips on top .

6. Bake at 190 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until slightly golden brown.

7. Wait until it cools off before removing from the baking pan. Then cut into equal squares 🤤❤️.
